7 month old male yorkie needs a new home.
 
My neighbor just called me and asked if we wanted another Yorkie. She works with a friend of a friend who has a 7 month old male Yorkie. The owner has cancer and is becoming too ill to care for the puppy. She doesn't want to take the dog to the pound and just want a "good home" According to my neighbor she is heartbroken to give the dog away. The dog lives in Greenville SC, I live about 40 miles away in Greenwood. Are there any YorkieTalk members in the upstate of SC that could take in this little dog? I would take him in a heartbeat but my husband said a BIG NO!!!! :(

If there is ANY way to get him to Oregon, I will take him, and he will be loved like one of our children. Very unlikely chance, but just FYI.

I think Oregon is just a little too far!! LOL!! However we are going to be spending Thanksgiving in Pigeon Forge TN next week and I could possibly talk my husband in to caring for him until next week.
Also my daughter will be meeting us in TN and she lives in Indianapolis IN, I might be able to talk her into taking the puppy back to IN if someone in IN or KY would want to rehome the little boy. :)

Do you known anymore details? I know a girl in MD that was trying to get a rescue from TN last week. She might be interested. How big is he and has he been fixed? Do you have pictures?

No, I do not have pictures but I can call my neighbor and get pictures, i know he hasn't been fixed.

Please tell her to contact a rescue! If he is not altered, I shudder to think where he might end up. If she needs help, PM me and I will help her find one. Our Carolina fosters are full, but we can help find someone!

I know someone in Asheville NC that might want him...Is that close enough for a transfer?

That is certainly close enough! Asheville is only 1 hour from Greenville. In fact I could take him to Asheville on our way to Pigeon Forge TN for Thanksgiving next wednesday. My neighbor is going to get the picture and all the other details tomorrow for me.

I live about a west of Knoxville. I believe your daughter will have to pass right by out interstate exit. I may be interested in him if the others fall through.

Please someone speak up about this pup going just anywhere without FIRST being neutered and without reference checks...especially a vet reference.
The owner needs to at least get that done.
I hate seeing unaltered pups up for grabs. What if he ends up in the wrong hands...he could end up in a mill.
Just because someone is on YT does not make them or anyone they know responsible.
These stories make me cringe.

I am in Georgia and may be interested. Can you send me a picture and any information you have on him. I'll talk to my husband and see what I can do. Is he asking for a rehome fee? I believe I'm about 3 1/2 hours away...which is nothing to my husband because he is always on the road for his job. I've actually been contemplating a 2nd Yorkie. PM me as soon as you can.
