Do your dogs throw temper tantrums? Josephine does, it's become quite funny to watch really. Apparently she's a princess and someone just forgot to tell us. What happens is for some reason or another Josephine needs to go into her playpen, (it has a bed, toys, food/water, ect.) however Jo-jo does not feel like she belongs in there. It starts by her stomping her feet, pouting and whimpering and slowly the whimpering stops and she begins stomping in her food bowl, throwing it around and getting kibble everywhere. Then after she's done having a fit she curls up on her bed and admires her handy work. xD The only other time she has temper tantrums is during playtime and I hide behind the kitchen island and she can't find me. Josephine will stomp and cry and eventually bark until I make a sound so she can come and find me and its all back to tail wagging. I never expected so much personality in a dog! lol Does anybody else's dog do this? |
When Scooter gets really mad and frustrated he will lie on his back and kick his feet just like a little kid. It's so funny and cute that I always pick him up and guess what.......he get his way and stops with the fit throwing. Gotta love 'em. |
Funny stories! Roxy hasn't thrown a tantrum yet, but it could happen someday. I'll be on the lookout for it. Wouldn't want to miss it! |
Hercules does. When my sis leaves he will growl, bark, cry, and bite the couch or bed or whatever he is on. It is hilarious. |
Not Cute Ones Here Maddie wasn't happy once when I hadn't been home a lot. So her idea of making her point was peeing and pooping in MY BED just as I was getting ready to climb in it! Then jumping around on the bed while I stood and watched her!! |
Hilarious thread! can't believe they throw actual tamtrums! Uni doesn't stomp, but she will come by me on the computer, slap her front paws on my leg and bark at me. If I try to grab her she hops backward really fast, barks, and slaps me again. that means, "get off the computer now! it's PLAYTIME!" |

Hahaha so funny! When I first started dating my boyfriend, Hendrix was SO jealous that if I left him alone in the room with my boyfriend he would growl at him and just poop right in front of him! My boyfriend would tell me these stories and I totally thought he was making it up at first haha. Hendrix is such a little mama's boy..... but now after four years he loves his daddy just as much :) Lucy hasn't thrown and tantrums yet, but being 5 months she is just in love with life still haha. |
Wrigley throws tantrums! She kicks up her back feet and makes a huffy noise! It's hilarious! She thinks she's the queen! |
Lucy throws a tantrum if we put her in her crate and she's not ready. She will put her front paws in her little food bowl and just start scratching and digging all the food out. Like the other poster said, kibble is flying everywhere! She growls the whole time she is doing that. It's pretty funny. |
Tintin throws a tantrum if he does not like his haircut....weird but true! when he DECIDES that the haircut is bad and does not make him look good, he will SULK... and really sulk in one corner in the room and refused to go out to the living room until it is meal time. After meal time, he will go run straight back to the room and sulk...this goes on until the next morning.. When he likes the haircut, he will strut around in the living room and parade around...as if showing off his new 'handsome' do...i can never understand him and only he will display such behaviour..sometimes he is too much like a human that it's scary.. ;) :D |
