Aw, the poor baby boy. You are such a sweatheart to go get him. I hope you can find him a home or a shelter. If I were down there already, I'd help you. |

Thanks everyone, he is such a sweetie pie. Twalla Grant's Photos - Our temporary house guest.... | Facebook I added new pics if you want to go look. I think he is older than 12wks too cause he raises his leg. He slept all night in the crate, no whining and no accidents! He stayed in the crate today, again NO accidents!!!! The lady that I got him from said two people called todady about him (she had put up signs). 1st call was someone that was wanting to give him a home. 2nd call , not sure they just said to call them back. She is going to give them my number. How long is appropriate time to wait for the owners to claim him before I find him a new home? I live in a small town (less than 5000) the lady did put up signs ALL over her neighborhood and in the important parts in town on Sunday when she found him. I picked him up yesterday and she got two calls today. Personally, as little as he is they should have been looking and seen the signs the same day! |

Yorkie and Chihuahua is my guess. |

Twalla god bless you for opening your home to the little guy. He looks like he is a sweetie. Maybe he comes from a home where they couldn't keep him or afford his care anymore and they let him loose. That would be my thought as to why if the lady put up fliers all over and no one contacted her. I would think he is a bit older than a couple months because of the size of his teeth. Those look like big boy teeth to me. I think maybe a two week span to keep him if you can't find his family. I think by that time though he might have grown on you. Sam will come around eventually. It's cute watching him trying to get him to play with him. |

I hope you can find his family. |

Just look at him! :aimeeyorkHe's a real cutie pie! If he's such a good boy I wonder why he was outside all alone; maybe he's an escapee? I sure hope he finds his way home, one way or another!:animal-pa |

If you call your local PD and/or shelter they will be able to tell you the legalities. And since pets are considered property you do have to run a found add in the local news paper for a certain length of time. |

so i got my dog and was told that she is a yorkie. but she is 8.5lbs. according to AKC a true yorkie is under 7. and a SILKY terrier is 8 to 11 lbs. looking at pictures online were gonna guess she is more a silky. but the lady i got her from swore up and down that she is a yorkie with papers.. not that i care cause i love her dearly, im just curious... does anyone know? can u tell the difference?? :D and p.s. there are pictures of her on my profile!! |
