Thank you guys!!!! I just called the surgery center and the nurse said Jersey was resting all curled up in the cage. Hopefully he'll sleep through the night.:)

He will but will you? When Milo had his hip surgery a few years back I went and got an aero bed so I could sleep next to him the first few nights and not have to worry about him trying to jump to be near me. They are very resilient the hardest part of his recoupe was keeping him from doing too much too soon.

Hey babe!!! I hope Jersey is doing well, my Snickers just had leg surgery last week so I know exactly where you are!!!! We are going through our 1s week of recoop now. Jersey will be a trouper through all this!!! I promise!! Snick and I are sending huggies to you and Jersey!!!!

dead gum it :(...I hate your little guy has to go through this, but sounds like he's got a great mom, lots of ppl who are loving him and praying for his recovery on YT, so we'll all hope and pray for a speedy speedy recovery....hugs from maggie :hug:and yorkie kisses from Apple :animal36

Awww sorry to hear Jersey's injury was worse than you originally thought, but glad to hear that his surgery went well and that he is resting now. Jack and I wish him a speedy recovery! :thumbup:

Jersey cam home this afternoon he is resting now. He has a yellow cast/bandage with a little green bone print. He looks so pathetic but he is home safe and sound let the healing begin!!!:)

Welcome back home Jersey. We hope you feel better soon. We know your mommie loves you and she is taking good care of you. You behave now and heal that little leg up good ok. I'm glad to hear Jersey Boy is home and doing well. The first few days are the hardest, but it is amazing how fast these little guys bounce back. Sounds like you had a wonderful surgeon and vet that knew what to do. Sending out healing prayers to Jersey!:big_hug:

He's doing pretty good. He is getting use to the kennel, it's big so he has plenty of room and nice and cozy with his favorite blankets. Ho goes back to the Dr on Monday for a bandage change. once monday comes 5-7 weeks left! Time will fly right? LOL Thanks for asking about him.:)

I've been through the broken leg bit before. My daughter opened the back door and knocked our Chi off the top step. It was only about 18 inches high, but he was tiny and he broke his leg. He got around really well with a cast on and the time flew by. We no longer have Toby, unfortunately, he passed many years ago but lived a very long and spoiled life. Hope your baby is doing well today. :)
