woohoo! nobody better in NJ! he and his staff are the best! was the surgery being done today? you can call this evening and speak with his nurse anytime you want....her name is June and she is wonderful. he's in good hands.

Oh that is so good to hear. I just talked with Dr Hunt, he said the surgery went well Jersey is of course sedated he will be staying over night and I will pick him up tomorrow afternoon. Then we have 6-8 weeks of serious recoup time.:)

so glad the surgery is over and went well! let the healing begin! you'll probably get detailed instructions when they discharge Jersey...follow them to a "t" and I'm sure your boy will be as good as new by Christmas.

Oh, Sweetie! I just got home from work and was dying to see an update on Jersey. I'm so sorry to read that it's worse than you thought, but thrilled to hear he's through surgery and doing well. I know leaving him at the surgeon's over night is the worst feeling of helplessness, but he'll probably sleep all night. And you should take advantage of catching up on your sleep to stockpile it for the next 6 to 8 weeks of care you'll be shelling out. Maybe a glass of wine and a little YT will help relax you into a good night's sleep. Super glad all is as well as can be expected. ((((((((((Hugs)))))))))))))

PS: May sound funny to others, but have to ask as you'll know where it's coming from....Did he ever pee for you last night?

I was so sorry to read that Jersery's break was worse than previously thought. I am glad he made it through surgery ok and I know you will be glad to have him home tomorrow. Keeping all of you in my thoughts.:getwell::big_hug:
