Grooming suprise I took my yorkie to a groomer today - was supposed to get a summer cut - not knowing what that entailed, as I haven't seen it before. When I fetched him, I was shocked to see all his body hair was shaved very, very short, only te legs, face and tail was still long. He is not happy and hasn't wanted to walk around much. It looks cute, but I don't know if I will do it again.. |
I think that is what a summer cut is. I get a summer cut for mine and they don't have much hair when I pick them up. They do look cute. |
Awww. I'm sure your pup looks adorable! Nikko gets a bit of an attitude as well after a grooming. I don't know if its the fact of being left for so many hours in a strange place or that they feel strange with less hair. Whatever it is, he always acts a little mad at me when I go get him. I'm sure your pup will be fine. |
Wow! I'm sorry that happned! thanks for sharing though! I'll know what I'm getting if they offer it. |
It sounds like how I get mine cut |
your yorkies are beautiful Bocelli has never had short hair, and I think it's actually irritating his belly a bit, shame I actually feel bad, I didn't think it would be that short. |
Can you post a picture for us??? |
I just dropped Gypsy off at the groomers. They have some fur sample pads showing how short the blades get the hair. They usu ask us what length. Tonight we just told them to cut it really short as money was tight and we did not want to bring so much. I am a tightwad I guess. |
ooo sounds like a "lion cut" I love the lion look on yorkies! :p share pics! |
3 Attachment(s) here is some pics of Bocelli's cut |
awww...he does look really cute, but i can imagine it was a bit of a shock for you. The fur will soon grow again, and i think once it has grown just a little bit, you will like it more. |
He is still not moving around much, so I am getting worried now. I put a jersey on him, it seems to help a little, but he is REALLY not happy! |
