How many of you put a cover on your furbaby at night? My 3 furbabies sleep with us at night and they love to be covered:) In the morning they don't want to get up cause they are so snuggly warm. Does your babies like being covered? |
Lola sleeps under the covers either near our feet or right against my chest with her little head popping out onto my arm. She loves being snuggled up! :) |
Both of ours sleep with us too . . .Brody likes to be bundled up near my husband and sometimes during really cold nights he'll actually make his way underneath the covers . . .Rhianna mainly sleeps inbetween us on top of the covers . . . When I leave for work in the morning they are both in their own beds and I cover both of them with their blankies . . .Brody would stay like that for hours . . .he loves his blankie! |
Mine looovvvveeeesssss to be under the covers. I won't put them under the covers though until they start their crying and letting me know that is what they want. I worry that they will get too hot, but if they do get hot they just get out of it but usually they love to be covered up:p |
Maddie sleeps between daddy and mommy each night but on top of the covers. She has never like being covered up. She snuggles close enough to us to stay warm.;) |

I think so. We put ours in a crate at night but the first night after Tucket was neutered, he slept with us and he LOVED being under the covers. Anytime he sees me pull a blanket out to cover up in the living room, he makes a beeline to come up and snuggle. Don't really know with Ozzy yet. He slept with his foster mom in her bed and when we go to our room for whatever reason, he jumps on the bed and curls up at the foot so I think that's probably where he slept. No covers there but I'm sure he would enjoy being covered up too. |
We have an afghan that we started putting on our bed last winter and for whatever reason Cooper LOVES that afghan...as soon as he sees that afghan he begs to go to bed, jumping up in circles like he wants bed......he never gets under our comforter but is soooo funny to watch, he starts at the top of that afghan and crawls on his belly until he is about half way down under it ....you can even see him, he sleeps like that all night (no worrys the way it is made it has spaces/holes throughout so plenty of air).....when we wake up in the morning he just borrows down further like go away people it is warm in her! |
Mazie starts out sleeping at the bottom of the bed with a blanket over her. Cassie comes to the top of the bed and actually crawls under the covers all the way to my toes, turns around and will come back up to my tummy to sleep. Misty sleeps in a basket next to the bed, I put the blanket over her and I fall asleep. When I wake up, Cassie is laying against my back and Misty has moved to under my blankets at my knees. Sorry, Mazie is an English Cocker Spaniel, Cassie is a Maltese, and Misty is my Yorkie. |
Shelby & Seymour sleep on the blanket that we won in the YT meetup raffle in Kansas City. Marcella made it and they LOVE it. They don't sleep under it because they have goFetch pj's on and they are plenty warm already! |
Our pups sleep in crates and they each have a cat snuggle sack. It is super soft and kind of like a pocket they can curl into. (They sell them at PetsMart.) |
Bailey usually ends up under the covers snuggled up agains't me :p |
Maggie has never liked to be too covered up, she may start out all covered up and snuggled but she always climbs on top of the covers. Hot Rod loves to be covered up and kept warm. lol |
Friday won't got to sleep unless she is covered. My boys sleep mainly right up against my legs on top of the covers but if they get cold they burrow under the covers. |
Reesie starts out stealing one end of my pillow or my wife's. If it's really cold she'll go under the covers but doesn't stay there all night. Neither one of us is size large so we don't worry about rolling over on her and flattening her. But there's a downside. Her buddy Cindy sleeps on the bed at my feet and has since she was a puppy. I tried to train her to sleep on her own pillow but she wouldn't have it. That means our sex life has been pretty bad for eleven years! |
At night Callie sleeps in a soft inside dog house and I cover most of the hole with a folded blanket to keep the air from my ceiling fan from blowing on her but she can knock it down easily when she is ready to come out. she has the choice of sleeping on a "princess" bed my ex bf made her but she loves the soft dog house, anyway theres no way to cover her at night but in the morning when she naps in the living room she loves to be covered up, also when she takes her naps durning the day, and she normally likes to be covered up when she is sleeping in her carseat in the car. When shes not feeling good or something she loves to curl up with mommy under mommys covers :) |
I've tried to cover Daisy, but she hates it! She sleeps on top of the covers by my feet until she gets cold, then sneaks up between us and cuddles in her daddy's arms. In the winter I put a fleece or sweatshirt on her. She is okay with that, just not anything covering her. (She might need to make a fast get-a-way as she is the security system!) |
Mornings are some of the best times my husband and I have with our girl. She always wakes up sooo sweet. She has a heck of a time getting up lol. But to answer your question... Yes, she loves to be covered but if no one is awake to do it for her or its not done just right, she makes herself into a lil hampster sized ball. Cold natured pup for sure. |
Galahad varies. Sometimes he wants to be under the blanket in the bed (in which case he'll just nose his way under), and sometimes he'd rather be on top of the blanket. Either way, he's snuggled up against either my stomach or the back of my knees. |

Daisy sleeps with us and has her own blanket to be covered and Pixie is in a crate by my bed at night and I cover her as well. In fact sometimes Daisy crawls under the covers and pokes her head out the covers and rests her head on a pillow! looks so funny. I seriously think Daisy thinks she is a human! lol:D |

Piper always sleeps under the covers. I put a blanket over my comforter and when we first go to bed Piper will go under the blanket on top of the comforter. She'll be snugged up against my legs. During the early morning she"ll come out from beneath the blanket and want under my covers. I just lift them up and she runs right under them and snugs up against my chest. She'll stay there until the alarm goes off. When she hears the alarm she comes out and I'll hit the snooze and then she goes back under the covers. She'll keep doing that until I actually get up. She is content to stay in bed under the covers until I'm ready to get up. |
