Meanies-what would you do? I usually just stick to reading and not alot of posting, but figured I'd get some opinions on how I handled it. I had been emailing back and forth a lady that stated she would like to buy my stud male. I have had him advertised almost a week now. First it was back and forth with the price, second she wanted me to meet her in Tallahassee. I am in Palm Coast. The male in my opinion is about 4lbs in weight and able to be shipped. I very politely told her, I would come down off the price if she wanted me to ship him. She said no I "must meet her" and she will definitly purchase him. After speaking with my husband about, he said no to the long drive, I agreed. Then I relayed that to her that we didn't want to drive that far,Then when I told her she was welcome to come down instead..she says this: "too bad you let your husband control you. Your loss. " Well I in turn, said something I'm not too proud of. I stating that "can you imagine what the world would be like if people were kind, sweet, bit their tongues when something nasty were to come out? Well I guess the Devil would be out of a job. Yikes, I know that was not very professional to say, but I was very suprised. I am very glad she won't be getting my male as he is too sweet for something that has mean little retorts like that. |
That was ugly of her to say. Misery loves company. I'm just glad your stud won't be keeping company w/her! |
I would have said something similar, if not meaner...what she said was totally inappropriate and unprofessional! It was not ok for her to make a comment like that just in hopes of you telling your husband off and making the long trip for her. If she didn't want to have him shipped, she should have been willing to go to you...that's what I'm planning on doing when I buy my female someday (hopefully in about a year!). |
I don't think that was terrible to say I think it was appropriate. |
