Hi! 3 Attachment(s) I hope you all don't mind me posting here :) I'm going to pick up a little yorkie/sheltie mix tomorrow! He will be my first dog and I am so excited!! He was born in February. He's been living outside in a backyard during this time, so he isn't house or crate trained yet. I just went out and bought a canned drink, some cheerios, water/white vinegar, and some little doggie biscuits! I'm hope to have an intense few days with the little fella! (got all of these tips from this site, so thank YOU!) I've attached a few pictures of him in his younger days and one of him a few days ago! I hope you don't mind me posting here, even if he is not purebred. Your words of wisdom have already helped me so much :) - shmily I haven't decided on name for him yet, so I will update you on that! Can't wait to bring my little man home and start posting more with you wonderful folks!! [image]http://i981.photobucket.com/albums/ae293/herlifeincartoonmotion/Silas.jpg[/image] |

Hi and welcome to yt. It is a wonderful site filled with so many knowledgeable people. BTW, what is the canned drink, cheerios, water/white vinegar, and doggie biscuits for? |
Wow! Now I've never seen that mix before, but he sure is a cutie..... |
What an adorable little doggie! Congratulations! |
Sorry should have made it clearer. I've read around here to fill an empty can with coins to shake to deter barking or spray water with vinegar when they bark because they don't like the smell. The cheerios and biscuits are for training treats! |
I've been trying to find pictures or anyone else who has a yorkie/sheltie mix and no luck. Maybe it isn't actually sheltie?? Not that I really care, he's still adorable to me! |
Thanks! |
How adorable is he?!? Too cute! You will be getting my two favorite types of dogs wrapped up in one. |
