Alternative to bully sticks???? What can I give Louis to chew on, other than bully sticks. I know people say their dogs love them, but knowing what they are made of, I just can't give him one! What else can I give him to safely chew on? |
My two love to gnaw on antlers. I have some pics of them in my album chewing on them. They are naturally shed antlers with no preservatives the link to order is wag-n-trainllc.com and if you specify you want the small size and what kind of dog you have they will send the right size. I thought mine wouldn't like them but they fight over them..LOL:) |

Is there any other suggestions on what I can give him? Thanks!:) |
Jackson likes cow hooves. I know, sounds gross too, but I suppose not AS gross. He loves them. He likes those Antler things too. But nothing beats his bully sticks! I'm telling you, they're not THAT bad! As long as you get the non-smelly ones, they're no worse than any other bone. And they last us a while which is why I like them. I'm not "wasting" my money per say. One 12" bully stick will usually last 12.5lb Jackson 5 days, whereas other bones I've gotten him are gone in a day. |

My two love the Flossie Spiral Chews by Merrick. Not real sure what they are made of but they do smell bad! I take them away from Buster and Maggie when they get them chewed down to the last spiral. At that point, I think they are too small and I'm afraid they will choke. |
Jack loves his cow tail. It was only like 99 cents and he's had it for a few weeks now. Reminds me of rawhide only not bad for him and like I said, he loves it! |
