Ta-da leg warmer sweater!! 2 Attachment(s) Not too long ago there was a link how to make the sock sweaters. Well I thought they were so neat and couldn't wait to make one. I was at the dollar store today and they had leg warmers for sale. I thought hey I bet I can use this too and the verdict is.................... They work great as well!!!! :D I could definitely sew around the edges for the leg holes but for a buck you can't go wrong. So I just thought I'd let you all know since I know some were saying it was hard to find large enough socks that were nice colors/designs. These are a great idea and they had a variety of colors. They also work great for the longer slender babies like Lola. |
Very cute!! |
That is just too cute.. and how cuddly it looks... thanks for sharing.. |
Very cute! |
I made one out of a sweatshirt sleeve and it came out ok but I cut too much from the back and it looked more like a halter top :D I just bought one after that. You did a great job. It's VERY cute! |
great job:D |
Adorable & crafty! Love the stripes! What every girl wants....to look more long & slender! |
Too cute!!! We just found little girl leggings at target for $1 and they worked perfect to keep little Chloe warm....the only thing is my DH says she looks like a toilet paper roll because I made it to long..lol. Yours is very cuter and looks so warm. |
Cute idea..thanks for sharing! :D Donna |
Love it! And, I have 2 dancers at my house...so there are always leg warmers to re-purpose! Thanks for sharing. |
What a good idea!! I did something similar with a lightweight "tube" scarf. I cut just cut the length and the leg openings, like you did. Prince uses that at night, sometimes. I am going to look for leg warmers after work today. (It's good to know they still make those)! What a cute way to save a little money$$ |
That's adorable! |
