Please help!!!!!!! I am at my witts end with Fiona right now. I know that she is probably still in transition to our move. Some nights she is fine, other times she is not. I take her out when I know she needs to go, and again this morning I woke up to poop on our bathroom floor, I can tell my boyfriend is getting annoyed. I'm not really sure what else to do. She barks and lets me know when she needs to go, and she really has only had 2 accidents from when I got her. I don't want to get potty pads, because there is really no need for it, since she is housebroken, I'm not sure if she is just having these accidents since sometimes I fall asleep early, and she won't wake me up, or if I should just start walking her more, or what!? Any Suggestions!? |
Our Lily who is two years old always poops on the front door rug whenever there is a change around the house. A new puppy, we traveled, I left her longer than usual etc... Usually she stops after the stress has subsided. You could try putting her in a crate at night so she will hold it? Good luck:p |
I'm sure that once she gets adjusted to everything, she'll get back to her old routine. If your boyfriend is getting annoyed with her, I say pick up the poop, flush it and tell him to get over it. |

I think once she feels secure she will get back to her normal routine. |
Do you have a crate for her? When you are asleep or occupied you need to crate her. Lexie has had a couple of accidents when I am in the shower. Since then I crate her if I am not there to watch her and this worked well. Her accidents are very rare. |

ha ha! he doesnt get upset or yell at her or anything! he usually is the one that cleans it up! but, ha ha, we are even now, since I came home yesterday to his dog eating the fish food! i was so shocked! she was fine though! well, last night i made sure she did her thing, and no accidents this morning! I was thinking about leaving her in the crate at night, but she is in it all day while we are at work! but she seems to be doing fine! |
Good to hear! She probably just needed to adjust ;) |

That's great! I'm glad she's getting back on track :) |
well---she pooped again last night----and i took her out at 1am when i woke up----GRRRRR!~ :mad::mad: |
Mine used to do that until I switched food and started feeding them smaller portions. Don't really know why but it worked:D I was so tired of waking up to poop every morning. My husband and I were arguing all the time because he was always complaining about this. I also make sure I don't feed them late - or to close to bed time. Good luck! |
u can use the pads just at night; that way u know for sure she won't have an accident. |
