Toatally different look after grooming today
 
:animal36 I had Fagan Groomed today. He needed a haircut and even though I brushed him everother day or so he was getting mats in his undercoat. Anyway she had to take his cut very short. So now all his puppy brown and black are gone and he's completely silver except for a little tan on his feet! He looks so different! He's sooooo soft now I love petting him. He looks like an old man now. If I can figure out how to post pictures I'll post before and after...tooo Cute :littleang

He is adorable. Thats how Chachi was after we groomed him. He lost his black and his face was real light,

:eek: I know how shocked your son felt!!! :p Fagan looks like a totally different Yorkie!! Still handsome .... just different!! Was he embarrassed?? My son's border collie, Missy, always acts soooo embarrassed when she gets a summer cut!! ;)

LOL bettyeanne! Bentley does too. The littlest thing embarasses him :D

Fagan looks like a little teenager now :) He's very handsome!!!!

My son was so funny when he first saw him..he kept saying to me "What did you do to him?!?" It took him a while to get used to him. This was the first full groom Fagan has had. We had him in a month or so ago for a little trim. He was soooo tired when I picked him up. He was falling asleep in my arms as I was talking to his groomer and paying. He doesn't seem embarrassed...I think he knows he looks good!!! :aimeeyork

WOW!! What a difference :eek: . Piper has crazy hair going on right now and needs a trim but I think I'd have to get all misty-eyed if I went to that extreme, just because I'd think about and miss his "baby hair" but I'm an overly sentimental fool sometimes. I'd keep him a puppy forever if I could. I know the day is coming where I need to do something different for him though. Thanks for the pics, they'll help me prepare. Fagan looks adorable with his new "do." :D

he is adorable with his silver body.
iv had rosie groomed 3 times now and shes still got a black body her face is honey coloured and so are her legs, shes 8 months in 6 days wonder if she will stay black now or still change to silver, both her mom and dad were silver, any ideas?

I've read they change colors for the first two years, Wendybee. But I think you'll need to post cute pictures so we can all weigh in on it.

I'm amazed at the change in Fagan's coloring, though. Will it stay gray or grow out black?

Your so right!! Totally different dog! That happened to me the first time I had Bell groomed. You go to pick up your fur baby and they give you this dog and your thinking!!! This isn't my dog?? RIGHT????? :p
