Sleepy time with my yorkie...
 
my yorkie is 3 months old now and she wont sleep under the covers with me... will she ever like to or is this just something that some dogs dont like to do?

Annie never slept under the covers, no matter how cold it got she always slept by my head.

Boo must be under the covers. He rarely comes out until he's ready to get up.

Gracie Ruth likes to have her body under the covers, but her head out. I think she has a bit of claustrophobia, she always needs at least her nose poking out from underneath.

Yogi started out not liking to be under the covers, but he has now realized the coziness and sleeps most of the night under them.

Bella doesn't like being under the covers either. She even has her own blanket and doesn't like being under it. She might change her mind this winter at bed time. We sleep with an ac on year round with no heat in our bedroom. Sometimes you can see your breathe when you awake. My brothers yorkie he likes being under the covers and I know of two more little males that like undercovers.

Molly doesnt like being under the covers. She likes to be close though and sleeps on a pillow next to mine, with her head on the corner of my pillow. :aimeeyork

Daisy will not get under the covers. I have to put her in a fleece wrap or sweatshirt at night in the winter to keep her warm.

Cover- out or under ?
 
Bogey wants under the cover & will use his paw to remind me to pick it up so he can go under. Pebbles wants to be on top of the cover but touching you in some way. Thank goodness they don't fight over sleeping arrangements.

In a way, count it as a blessing. Mine ALL sleep under the covers and I wake up in the middle of the night sweating like a nut case! Of course, I am old so that might have something to do with it too. LOL!

In our bed, Gypsy likes a little cover on her but I think it has something to do with getting away from the other girls. Puff the chi full under cover at the foot of the bed. Sophie likes her head out at our pillows. If she gets cold, she cuddles under the cover at daddy's warm back.

I have three and none of them like the covers.
