Detroit MI Home broken into, and Yorkie stolden Woman Says Tea Cup Yorkie Stolen Updated: Friday, 30 Oct 2009, 8:09 PM EDT Published : Friday, 30 Oct 2009, 5:48 PM EDT By TARYN ASHER myFOXDetroit.com DETROIT (myFOXDetroit.com) - Madison is missing. Brittanay Thomas say while she was at school on Wednesday, someone broke into her Detroit home on Biltmore and stole her one-year-old tea cup Yorkie. Thomas' heart breaks every time she looks at Madison's empty bed and little toys. "And i'm calling and calling and... she just wasn't there, and I just cried. I just miss her so much," Thomas said. Thomas says she was gone for less than an hour. She thinks the thieves had been watching the house and knew what they were looking for when they broke in through the back window. "And they didn't ransack the place or anything. They... came into my room and they got her from under the bed," said Thomas. Thomas has been busy putting up flyers throughout the neighborhood and in people's mailboxes, hoping someone must have seen something. Thomas says she's offering a $600 reward. All you have to do is call the number on the flyer or drop the dog off, no questions asked. "I don't want anything that they took," Thomas said. "I just want her." Thomas filed a police report. She thinks someone stole her three pound, pure bred princess, hoping to sell Madison and make a quick buck. "I think it's cruel and heartless," said Thomas. "She means everything to me. I mean, I would give anything for her." Woman Says Tea Cup Yorkie Stolen |
Oh, I'm sooo sorry! I'm sure you're devastated. I would be too. How heartless can people be?!?!?! I sure hope someone finds her for you. Hugs & good thoughts coming your way. |
I am soo sorry this happened to you:cry:.I live close by I think. are you in sterling hts or detroit? although they say metro detroit, detroit and sterlings heights are quite a distance from each other. It would help if you posted pictures because they all have their own unique features and It could help people look out for her. |
Not me, thank God!!!! The story was on my local news, and I thought it was heartbreaking! |
This poor lady! I'm so glad your local news covered it and helped put more pressure on the devil that did this. Praying that she gets her baby back. This is my biggest nightmare! May sound funny, but when I walk my babies I really watch the people that are watching us, to see if they are paying too much attention to my babies. I'd be a nervous reck leaving home if I didn't have my big mouthed Great Pyrenees in the house to bark and any noise coming to the door. My heart breaks for what this woman is going through. Not only losing her baby, but her feeling of safety in her own home. Please keep us posted. |
I know, I feel so bad for her. If you click the link at the bottom of the article, there is a picture of her baby, and a video clip as well. They think her dog was the main reason they broke in, how heartless  |
Update on Madison, but bad news for others Video Happy ending for Madison, but there are more missing. Please be careful if you live in Detroit, or surrounding areas, this is just so sad. Atleast the couple that purchased Madison at a GAS STATION were kind enough to turn her in after they saw the flyers. How can people be sooo evil  If you live in Detroit or its suburbs, please watch the above video, so you can be on the look out for the other missing dog.
