My Lexi is Pregnant Lexi and Tucker tied up on labor day weekend... She only has one week left. her belly is huge:eek: I feel so bad for her I did get a sonogram done and the vet said she looked good and seen 4 little ones I am so excited but nervous too this is the first time I have ever had a letter from a dog so small I hope she is okay . If any one has any advise I would appreiciate it thanks Lexi s Mom |
Congratulations, do you have pictures, we LOVE pictures of bellies... my Chanel is due thanksgiving weekend.:D she is a silkie terrier a bit bigger than your tipical yorkie but in the same family..:) |

For adorable. I loved seing the big bellies on Brandy (2x) and Misty (1x). Each dog had a very easy delivery. I was just there to keep them company and move the newly born to the mama. Keep us updated! |

Today Lexi is moving very slow not very interested in even going out side to potty. Her stomach did not feel well last night and she through up is that a sign that maybe she' have these babies today I sure hope so I hate to see her feeling so sad:( |
we have 3 puppies so far and her contractions are still coming everything is going good :) |

Well she is finally finished Lexi had 4 boys and 3 girls all are doing well. we had only seen 4 pups on the sonogram so this was a surprise needless to say but all are healthy and Lexi is resting I'll get pics up soon |

okay this might sound stupid but after weighing the pups for the first time what do you use to identify them the next weigh in? specially when you have 7....:confused: |
Most breeders use different color yarn as a "pre collar" and write down Yellow...... and blue..... ect. That is the best advise I know. you will need to put them on them and weigh them again and then next time instead of names you write the color down and then the new weight. |

lexi's babies We weighed all the puppies the smallest weighs only 2.6 she is alittle girl the other 2 girls weighed in at 5.0 and 4.7 the boys were 3'8, 4.8 and two at 4.5 That little girl sure is a fighter she pushes her way right in there to eat no stopping her :animal-pa:animal-pa:animal-pa |
You can use nailpolish to identify them too. That is a large litter, can't wait to see pics! |
