3 pounds at 7 weeks, any guesses how big this guy will get? I really want a bigger yorkie 8-10 pounds would be great! any guesses how big a pup who is 7 weeks old and already weighs almost 3 pounds? |
well i think he will surpass 10lbs...lol |
It can be very tricky . I've known people having big puppies but as adult they weren't big at all . |
How large are his/her parents? |
reply: how big are the parents small - both under 5 pounds. |

Doubling the 12 week weight usually is pretty accurate, I've found. Jackson followed it to a tee, he was 6lbs at 12 weeks old and is now 12.5lbs as an adult. :) |

Madison was about 3lbs @ 7 weeks. She will be 11 months here soon, she is a tad over 12lbs:) |

and to be honest it's like he grew from 4 pounds to 7 or 8 pounds in a week and he hasn't budged in about a month a so. he's getting longer though.... i swear he is. lol |

well Baxter is the odd ball I guess lol. At 13 weeks he was 2.25 lbs. So he should have been around 5 lbs. Now at 2 years old he is 9.5 lbs, without a ounce of fat. lol Thats my boy! :) I agree with a larger yorkie though, there are alot less worries with them. And just as lovable and funny. |
