Santa needs help! I am looking online for some things to "winterize" my furbutts.. I am looking for a good snow/ice protectant shoe for my 4 and 5 lbs babies, "stocking stuffers" if you will :). I have already bought them brand new winter coats. I just need to know what kind of shoe is best. What do you all use? It gets really really cold here and icy and I want to be able to still take them out to play at times. I have seen lots of reasonable looking shoes for the cold but they all look like they would fall off easily  Any help is greatly appreciated ! |
I'm bumping in hopes the SOMEONE knows of a good little shoe for the snow :( |
I would like to know this as well! |
Maybe it's just my baby but he absolutely refused to wear any boots I put on him last winter. I got the "Uggs" for him and it took 20 minutes to put them on him and 20 seconds for him to bite them off. They had the velcro to "buckle" and he wasn't have it at all! I tried the latex disposable kind....different colors and he wasn't having that either. Keep in mind that Chase loves wearing clothes and he'll let me put anything on him except boots. I ended up buying "Mushers" gel. It looks like vasoline and you rub a tiny bit on their paws before going out in the snow...or very cold weather. It coats their paws. Each time we came inside I'd plop him in the tub to quickly rinse it off. This was the only thing that worked for us. Good luck. |
Wanted to clarify the latex ones are these: Pawz Dog Boots (X-Small) and I will try to attach pic of ugg boots below. They are called:Casual Canine Cozy Sand Tan UGG Type Boots for Dogs X-Small http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...hL._SS500_.jpg |
Snugglepuppys.com has a nice selection of footwear....... dog boots, dog shoes, faux fur boots, doggy style boots |
