Help with litterbox and poop... OK...so I have a cat and the litter box is very easy access for my yorkie...and she is ALWAYS going in and eating the cats poop...i even think she has started to eat her own..because she is still using puppy pads...now with eating her own i don't know if it's because she wants to or if when we yell at her about eating the cats...she is somehow associating it with pooping in general and is trying to hide her poop from us...I just don't get it. I dont have any way I could put the litterbox up too high for the dog...and I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas or has dealt with this issue themselves... |
I just moved in with my boyfriend and he has two cats, and Fiona has just now started pulling the cat poop out and playing with it---i yelled at her twice, and she hasn't touched it since---- you may want to call your vet and ask if you can feed the cats something to make their poop unenjoyable for the dog--i know that with dogs you can give them fresh pineapple with their food and it will help deter from eating the poop, but i'm not sure with cats. good luck! |
thanks...i never heard of feeding them something to make their poop un-wantable ahah...i'll def have to look into that!! thanks a lot! |
