Has anyone seen or used the Cozy Cave dog bed? They look great. I am looking for a warm place for Bonnie to sleep during the day when I am gone to work. We turn down the heat a little when we leave and this is the first winter I have had Bonnie. I do not want her to get cold. Snoozer Original Cosy Cave Dog Beds (I hope it is ok, if I posted the link. If not someone tell me and I will edit my post) I made her a little sweat shirt yesterday, and ordered several pairs of jammies along with a snuggle safe heating pad. |
I have not seen or used one but the picture you sent looks like my puppy would really like it. It looks like it would be a really safe feeling being all "cuddled" up in the bed. I am looking into ordering the snuggle safe pad too. Have you used it? Does your baby like it? I say, order it and give it a try. Good luck! |
I have something quite similiar for pixie...a pink igloo style bed in our bedroom...she loves it. These little dogs usually love to climb in/under things to sleep! |

Penny sleeps with us and we make a little "cave" at the end of the bed with a blanket. It is hilarious how she goes and fusses with the blanket until she gets it juuuust right. :):animal36 |
That looks really cool.....it says completely washable, so thats even better! let us know how you like it! |

This bed would be for Bonnie to curl up on while we are away from home during the day. She sleeps under my bed at night, even though her bed is right beside the bed. I would love her to sleep in the bed with us during the night, but DH does not like that idea. He has sleep apnea and I have fibromyalgia, so I don't sleep well anyway. The least little movement wakes me up, so when DH is not home and she is on the bed with me, I wake up every time she moves, licks, scratches.... But she does get up and snuggle with me after the alarm goes off:) |
I have a bed on that order for HazelNut, different brand, but same concept. Every Yorki I've had has LOVED that style. They can get warm and cozy, and hide if they want to be alone. |
I think it's a great idea. It's something I've been thinking about for Christmas, because both my boys love to 'burrow' under things. I'm deciding if I should get one large or two small. (I think I saw a similar bed in Foster & Smith catalog). Let us know how you like it. :) |

Well, I got the snuggle safe this week. I does what it says. I heated it up and put it in Bonnie's bed. It stayed warm all day. The only thing - it is very hard. I thought It would be a soft rubber disk. I just put her blanket over it. If you want one for night, you will have to get a second one, as you are not supposed to heat it up again til it is cool. But it did stay warm:) |
That bed is adorable. Prince has a wicker igloo bed, which he loves. (Second to sleeping with us!) I got an electric throw (smaller than an electric blanket) last Christmas, but Prince has taken it over. I set it on low, put it on the floor and :dogzzz: |
1 Attachment(s) Emmy loves her cozy cave! I have it next to my computer desk and she'll burrow in it if I'm on the computer for a while. If she gets warm she lays on the top of it. I hope I've attached a picture of her in it. |

I love that bed it looks just like what my yorkies would like. I got a cat's igloo bed from Superpetz for less than $20 for my two yorkies. It looks very much like the cozy bed except the hood is higher and rounder. But it's made with the same fabric and has a removable pad that can be washed. |
