I know what it is like to toil over the first big decision to bring a furbaby home, then to hope and dream and plan and look at those little pictures sent to you by the breeder a hundred times in anticipation. You wonder if, once she is settled, will she turn out to be shy or sassy, cuddly or more reserved....? (In our case it was all of the above, at different times of the day).
I waited for two weeks after finding my Daisy through breeder referrals until she was old enough to get on that big plane from Dallas to KC. When she peeked out of that little crate for the first time, I forgot that people were watching and launched into baby talk immediately. Hey, it was love at first sight!
My Daisy is a 'pink' girl too; don't they look cute in that color? The photo you have of Lilee in the little pink outfit is my favorite. My first Yorkie was a male that I always wanted to dress up, but no one would let me. Something about him losing his (little) mancard! Now we can do fluffy clothes and bows, etc. Yea!
I look forward to updates and seeing more pictures as things go along. | Congratulations on your baby Daisy :) They are close in age - Lilee was born on July 9th. I waited for a few months which seemed like forever. I went through every emotion that you experienced and funny thing is.. you waited for Daisy to come from Dallas to KC, and I waited for Lilee to come from KC through Dallas to CA. I agree it was total love at first sight when I saw her!
Aren't the fluffy clothes and bows fun?! I look forward to seeing your pics (especially the ones in pink) ;) and reading updates as Daisy grows up. |
