It does drive me bonkers to hear those dogs barking... I have yelled a few times, "GO GIVE YOUR DOG SOME ATTENTION AND LOVE" only after I heard the owner of it telling it to shut the F up. All they ever did was look at me strangely. I did report that neighbor and they had those dogs removed, THANK HEAVENS!! But since then they have gotten more dogs, and they are back to barking a lot again. It just breaks my heart. They are a bunch of looser in this area, especially in my area. UGH... Now for a positive story...
There is one neighbor that has two Chocolate labs and OMG they are the most coolest (well becides my two) lol in the neighborhood.. They are Hunter and Zoe... they are so sweet and LOVE to come play with Rocky and Nicky. I can tell that they are cared for because the love to be around people. Once when I was out with my boys, they were over at our house playing when I heard the owner hollern for them, The owner spotted them and came over to gather his dogs. We got to talking about our fur babies, and he appoligised for them comming over and bugging me, I was like heck no they were not a bother at all, infact we all had fun. He smiled and thanked me for not being annoyed with him, I laughed and said now why would I be annoyed, they are a delight. Then we got to talking about the neighbor across the way and he said that he reported them several times so his reporting and mine helped those other dogs get taken away. So maybe we need to be doing this again, ALL of us calling in, and get some kind of animal ban on them!! They do not deserve ANY animal!! Quote:

I am a very peaceful person, but it really irritates me when people do not accept responsibility for their 'dogs'. I use the word 'dogs' because they certainly can not be pets because most of these dogs are kept out side forgotten by their owners. No one plays with them, no one grooms them, no one watches their diet (most of the time they go for long periods of time with out food or water) and no one truly loves them. But complain to these owners about the way these dogs are barking, howling all the time (from neglect/boredom), terrorizing the neighborhood (the children and other animals), tearing up trash and flower beds and these so called animal lovers will quickly become all redneck defensive and quickly point out how much they care for their beloved dog. I have lived by these so called dog lovers time and again and watched their dogs die from starvation and neglect. It is a pity that all people don't have to take a test before they can own a dog and then have a yearly home inspection. These kind of people will not spay/nue, get vaccinations, annual vet. check ups, but they love their dogs. I think NOT. It is so irritating to be at the mercy of this type of mentality. | |
