......success! We have moved everything and all is well! (Except most of our stuff is still in boxes! Boxes everywhere!)

But our condo IS starting to 'take shape' - especially our living room, and as you can tell now, computer room! Our cable tv/internet was hooked up today. (And boy we were in withdrawl, haha!)

Sully has been a great sport thru it all.....I know it has been stressful for him but he didn't act stressed (until he got the cha-cha-cha today on our new berber carpet...darnit. Poor little guy.) He's feeling much better now, though.

Here are some moving pictures! The 2nd one is Sully, pooped out on my brother-in-law's shoulder. He sat like that for nearly half an hour! Way funny. And the last picture is of me and Angela with Sully and Marty!

We're SO sad to move away from them. They are the best friends we've ever had! (Angela, her hubby Brendon and of course little Marty.)

Oh my gosh! My neighbors are sooo cool! They deserve a post of their own. Eli and I moved into a condominium community of DOG LOVERS! hehehehe!

The lady "nextdoor" has two cocker spaniels. The lady downstairs has a long-haired 4mo. old chi, and caddy-cornered from us is a young married couple with a brown springer spaniel. And that's just our building! This condominium community is fairly large and it seems everyone else has dogs, too! In the evenings, everyone brings their dogs out to play. Sully was playing with nearly 15 dogs the other day....he's never been around that many dogs at once in his life and was having a ball!

Sully has way more new friends than I have, already!

But my husband and I moved from Johnson City, TN to Charleston, SC (332 miles) this week. My husband transferred with his job but I left my job at the newspaper (I am/was a newswriter) - and now I'm unemployed. But can't afford to be much longer b/c it is expensive to live here. But we're loving it already. Charleston is just amazing!

Our condo is 4mi. from the beach!!!

Valerie, I was just thinking about you last night! I'm so glad you are adjusting and little Sully is doing well! What a great place you moved with all those friends for SUlly! That is great! Have fun redecorating and unpacking!! We missed you ;)

Val - I missed you and had you on my mind too - What fantastic pictures - love Sully getting a piggy-back ride and the condo looks WAY better in your pictures than the links I went to - NOW I got a real feel for your new home and NOW I'M JEALOUS !!! Way to go - all that's left is the unpacking and isn't is the BEST feeling to be in your new pad ? I'm so thrilled for you and of course Sully the Wonder Dog - what a fun place to live

LOL - all those pictures are of ourold apartment. It was a cute little house (quadruplex) in the country. But it lacked:
- central heat/air
- washer/dryer
- dishwasher
- garbage disposal
- water pressure

Our new condo has all of the above! I know you've seen this pic but for everyone else....HERE is a pic of what buildings in our new complex looks like. AND our community is gated with a keycard to even open the gate...and it has 2 pools, 2 hot tubs anda fitness center! :) (Can you tell I'm excited about moving from The Ghetto to Fancy-Schmancy?)

OMG Girl...I am sooo jealous :eek: !!! Charleston is me and my husband's FAVORITE place in the whole world!! We celebrated our 1st and 2nd wedding anniversaries there and LOVED it so much!! We are dying to get back down there. Living there is a dream we have for the future, we felt such a huge connection to that place. We just bought a house and moved ourselves (only about 25 miles from where we were) a month ago. I can totally relate to the "surrounded by boxes" thing. I have a family room and garage literally filled with boxes and no idea where I want to go with the items still in them. Fortunately,Piper and his fur siblings LOVE their new home and especially the backyard. Enjoy your new home...share pics of MY beautiful Charleston when you can ;) ...I'd LOVE to see them, and good luck in your job search!! Give Sully lots of hugs and kisses for being such a great sport!! :p

Heh heh....I would love to post more pictures of our new condo, but there are boxes everywhere! LOL. Give me a week or so to clear things out and I'll be happy to post new pics!

It sure sounds like your all happy.
My husband wanted to move, but I told him no way,
so he just built an upstairs. (he a contractor)
Now we have a 7 bedroom home, and there's no way
I'm ever going to move, way too much packing for me.
I'm sure you will have lots of new friends in no time!
