Kinda a weird question.. Lorelai has this fetish with licking my clothes! only when they are on me however...Dalilah will occasionally kiss my hand repetitively until I tell her to stop but not NEARLY as often as Lorelai licks my pant legs, my tummy (because I am preggers) and my arms (if I have a jacket or something on). I have always wondered about it and I wonder if its like being preggo...if you crave pickles, you are low on something...Is she licking my clothes because she is needing something nutritional?? Pnut is a licker too. He also will lick my arm if I am petting him or rubbing his ear.. I think its like a calming kinda thing too.. |

GiGi is a licker too! Not our skin so much as our clothes, I never thought to even ask this Q either, but I was pretty excited when I found you're post... I know she is not nervous, it's almost as if she's trying to groom us? But she is so obsessed when she's licking and she will NOT stop, I even move her off the couch and she just comes back as if she is on task and NEEDS to finish her mission...LOL I don't think there is an actual answer as to why she does it, I just think she likes it :)~ |

Yep, you guessed it, Daisy is sitting on my lap licking my thumb right now! Talk about being on a mission! She also likes to lick my clothes, but I typically put a stop to that once I realize what she is doing. (At first I thought I must have spilled something on myself and she was trying to clean it. Ha.) My other Yorkie never did this, so I am glad to know others are having the same experience and that it is somewhat normal. |
Wow! I thought it was just Molly who would at times lick my shirt. When she first comes up on my lap she likes to lick my hand and sometimes a lick or two to the arm before she settles down next to me. I just assumed that it was her way of showing affection. :iheartu::yorkiesar |

Sometimes Peanut will lay on my pillow above my head and he will get into his "licking stage" and lick his arm.... by the time he moves I have to turn my pillow over and kick him off bc half my pillow is soaked!! :rolleyes: |
