Why do I listen to a 14 yr old??? "Mommy, lets take all 3 to petco" am I nuts or what? The 3 of them were in one wagon. I put a blanket on the bottom of the cart so it would be soft for them. Poor little Pebbles was getting trampled by Trixie. Pebbles couldn't see. Coco is just panting with his little tongue out and barking. My 14 yr old is putting E collars on them (just for fun) They were really cute though. We showed them the fish. They wanted to eat them  We showed them the birds. My daughter had to let Coco and Trixie try out a cozy bed. I took Coco and I was holding him while she was putting the collars on. I put him in one of those carriers that you take to the vet. Just for a try out.hehe He was just hanging out. He was like," what is this?" PS I didn't buy anything because the wellness core food was way overpriced in there. I have to go to the specialty store in my area. It is like $5 cheaper. I have shopped with 4 children under age 9, but these 3 gave me a run for my money today. ( I don't think I would have the patience to take the kids out now. Thank goodness I had them a while ago.) Everyone is coming up to us saying how cute they are. One lady had a morkie she brought over to say hello. Coco was just barking. I picked Pebbles up and they smelled each other and her tail was going crazy. Trixie was having fun just hanging out in the cart. Waiting to be petted by anyone who would pet her. I couldn't wait to get home. Needless to say they are exhausted and sleeping very soundly. They love the car. Next time it has to be one at a time. They are killing me. I think they were fine I was my dd who wanted to try on all the stuff. |
Sounds like you sure had a busy time shopping. lol I dread when I decide to bring both dogs AND a toddler to Petsmart. I love to get in and out as fast as possible, but it's so hard with all the cute clothes, toys and other little animals in there. Our trips always end with me spending way more then I wanted too and a whole bunch of girls that just won't listen to mom lol Glad to hear you had fun! :p |
Sounds like a crazy shopping trip!! :D |
do you guys with multiple dogs or dogs and children ever just get a cart and stick the dogs in there? I'm seriously considering doing that next time I go to petsmart...Joey just gets so riled up, it's insanity...he's constantly trying to get people to pet him, and Tank, being quite the invert, sits between my legs or as far away from other people as he can...grr. I'm thinking the cart sounds wonderous for next time, haha. |
We take all 7 of ours to starbucks every Sat then to Petco. They all go in the shopping cart. The store people all know them and people shopping love to stop and say hello. My furkids love going and greeting everyone. |
Wow you are brave. ;) |
yes i agree... very brave lol |
Haha, I only have one dog and he's a hassle at PetsMart. He throws himself at peoples feet so they will rub his belly, lol. I never put him in a cart because he doesn't like to be in moving things, he freaks out. You guys are very brave! |
What well behaved babies!!! Quote:
a perfect example of :littleang I've always had Maltese, which of course are the complete opposite of Yorkies. :hmmm33: It's is refreshing to know that one day :hands: I will be able to get my lil stinker to that point! |
Lol, sounds like quite an experience, and good for you, you made a wonderful memory for your daughter that will grow even sweeter in years to come. |
You're right. It was kind of fun, I guess  It was nice to see them socialize with people. They didn't mind the cart at all. Just my Coco, (the mayor) had to bark at everyone. He is really a mush and would never bite anyone. He just gets excited when he sees people. I was only taking one with me, then my daughter said, "Oh let's take the girls". I wouldn't because I didn't want to just leave one home. She snuck all of them in the car while I was getting ready to leave. They really loved the little outing. |

:lol tears:lol tears Hilarious! I love the way you write! I could picture the whole scene! If they were humans, it would be a scene right out of the old "I Love Lucy" show! |
So I'm not the only crazy one  I have done the EXACT same thing with my 14 yr old daughter and my 3 crazy nuts! :p I had the added bonus of Doodlebug trying to jump out of the shopping cart and having to catch him in mid-jump because Pebbles was getting a little too much attention  FYI~Petco will price match and after you purchase 10 bags you get a free bag! I just got my coupon last week and picked up my FREE $54 bag of NB food! |
