What about when YOU are sick?
 
I've been sick all day, just finally felt a little better to get on the computer. I feel so bad because Capone has been trying to play with me and I've been ignoring him and pushing him and his toys away, only because I don't feel very good. My wonderful boyfriend stopped by and made me food and gave me medicine and played with him for a while, but he's still whining and crying. What do you do when you are sick and they want play, I feel so bad.

What do I do ? I put the heating on and snuggle on the couch , Tia loves it.:D

actually I was really sick all last week and for two days I had a fever, well I wasnt taking chances that Maxi get sick so during the day for those two days I had my mom puppy sit until the fever broke. I did try to play with him at night but he must have known that I was feeling crappy because he was really quiet and played next to me and then he napped on the sofa with me

Awww thats cute, I guess Capone is not that intuitive, lol. He's was trying to eat my soup and then sat on my head because I was ignoring him. lol.

It's only the two of us so I have to get him out.
When I came down with shingles and was in so much pain I could
barely walk him but I did. When he pulled, which he does, I saw
stars because it pulled my arm and my side. I couldn't wait
to get home and sit down. It's not easy and I
don't get sick very often thank heavens. When I'm laying down
he just get's cozy next to me and dosen't ask me to play with him.
They seem to understand you don't feel well.

I had to laugh when you said Capone sat on your head:D. Sophie used to do that, too. I am sorry you aren't feeling well. I always feel bad, too when I'm not feeling great and Sophie brings me every toy she has to see if I will play with the latest offering. When I walk around the house she has a toy in her mouth and hugs my leg with her front legs and walks with me in little hops. It breaks my heart and so I try to play a little with her and then pick her up and lay her on the bed with me for a nap and pet her for awhile so she doesn't think I'm mad at her.

I got sick a few months ago (major throwing up etc! Gross!) and Jackson seemed to just know... he slept with me most of the day, and only barked to go outside to potty like three times a day or so. He was a good boy :)

I just woke up from another nap and Capone slept next to me. I think he figured it out when we didn't go through our normal routine. He loves looking out the window behind my bed (I personally don't see a thing interesting out there, but apparently he does) So he sat quietly looking out the window, then came and cuddled next to me. Gosh I love him so much, sweetest cutest thing.

When I get sick and stay in bed, it's like they know I don't feel well and all 4 of my babies snuggle under the covers and sleep. Hope you feel better soon

When I am sick I sleep and stay in ben allll day! I love that Teddy can be lazy and sleep in bed with me all day. But it is like he knows when I'm sick cause he will sweetly come lick at my face instead of his usual jump on my stomach or eat my hair like he usually does to get me out of bed haha.
