My Yorkies and Ill Husband :animal-pa:animal-pa:animal-pa:animal-pa:animal-pa:animal-pa:animal-pa Hi Guys! We have seven beautiful Yorkies and my husband and I just love them! He has been very ill over the last 10 years (2 transplants, cancer, stroke), and was just in a severe car accident. Our little yorkies missed him so much while he was in hospital and since he has been home, they will not leave his side! They truly are man's best friend!!! They are great therapy for him and life wouldn't be the same without them. It gets pretty hectic at times, but they are our babies!!! Right now, two out of the seven have been growling and fighting with each other. I know they are fighting for his attention and/or to be alpha dog - but does anyone have any advice about stopping the fighting between them? As I said, I understand why they are fighting (especially since one of them is my husband's favorite). I just want some advice on how to stop them....... Any ideas? Thanks! |
Hi I am not sure what you can do really. I think they have to work it out on their own as long as they are not hurting each other. I believe they are maybe fighting for dominance. Are they males or females? I know you will get good advice on here. I am not really sure just what to do.You could spray them with a water bottle maybe? Or maybe make a loud sound with a newspaper or a can of pennies to stop them? |
