My son can text faster than he can talk. Amazes me how he knows all of that stuff! Now if I could get him to remember to take out the garbage!

DD = dear daughter
DS = Dear Son
BF = Best Friend

I do believe that DH was always meant to be Darling Husband, or Dear Husband, however.... if you've been married for a long time and survived ups and downs the "D" could stand for any descriptive word beginning with the letter "D".

That would be SWMBO. I've seen that one in a few forums. Need a clue? how about She Who Must Be Obeyed.

I'm also a d.h. and had my own interpretations about it. Most weren't very complimentary because we all know the ladies can sometimes be sarcastic! :p

This is great. I have been wanting to ask for so long but i thought i'd sound like a dummy. I'm glad i now know. I don't have a DH just a DB though, (boyfriend, obviously). =]

I have been on here for quite a while also and have also been to embarrassed or afraid to ask too. Isn't that pitiful, it's like being back in school and not wanting to look stupid or ask a silly question, wanting to fit in with the popular ones, being the new kid at school and afraid you might be picked on for saying the wrong thing, wanting to answer questions but afraid the answer might be wrong!!!! It is just like being back in school but you don't have to come face to face with all your peers!
Sorry just rambling and thinking back......... :)
