Update on Pita's scratching I think I found the cause of Pita's itchiness. We just got a new couch and paid to have it scotchguarded at the factory, I didn't realize before, but after her bath she always runs back and forth on it rubbing and then she starts scratching! It's usually then I get really exasperated thinking I just gave her a bath and she's still itchy. Yesterday I watched her all day, she didn't scratch here at the office, she didn't scratch at home until she jumped on the couch!! So sheets are going over the beautiful new couch!LOL! The thing that baffles me tho is... in the night right after we go to bed is when she really starts scratchin and I'm not sure where that comes from. I got a new bedroom set too and she sleeps with us but I'm not sure where the itchies would come from on that, but I'm rewashing all of the bedding when I get home. I also washed my floor with vinegar and water last night so I know it's not my floor. I'm just glad to have figured it out! |
Wow !! That is great that you have figured out the problem !! Maybe if you have the furniture cleaned then it would take away the scotch guard , but you would not have to cover your new furniture over with a sheet !! Wonderful news! ;) |
SilverStarShado- I'm hoping after awhile the chemicals on the couch won't be as strong, it's not too big of a deal to keep it covered... I love the picture of your baby on your avatar! Does it always look like he's/she's smiling like that?? So cute!! |
Oh that's great news! Glad to hear you'e figured out the problem! |
