Disappearing Act! So I decided to introduce some RAW foods to Gizmo's diet and I gave him a small chicken wing today. Well he was licking it and trying to figure out how to eat it while I was doing the dishes, I literally looked away for about 2 minutes and the chicken wing was gone:eek:! I don't think that he could've eaten it that fast---bone and all, but it has disappeared and I cannot find it anywhere! He loves to hide his treats so that's what I think happened with the chicken wing. Ugh...I can see it now, he's going to pull it out of his hiding place two days from now and it's going to be all disgusting and rotting!!! |
Rosie is the same if she's not sure about something, she hides it under the back of the sofa, a place only she can get. The chicken skin is quite tough for small mouths to break into, perhaps she's hoping a bit of time will soften it up. |
YUMMMM! |
You really should removed the bones before giving the chicken to your dog. They can choke on it. Please be careful. ;) |
A couple of days ago I was wondering why ants were suddenly coming in through our front door...and then I looked under the welcome mat and found a tiny, shriveled piece of cooked liver (at least, that was all that was left....) I had given Stella last weekend when we had a chicken for dinner... Yorkies sure are kleptos! Hope you find the wing before you the point at which you wouldn't want to find it anymore! |

I thought it was ok to give the whole chicken wing since the bone is raw and soft and won't splinter. I was reading up on the threads about the raw food diet before I started. |
