I feed Jemma raw, raw. Meaning I simply go to the supermarket and buy her different kinds of raw meat with bones. She also gets raw veggies. Example. Yesterday morning she had a chicken thigh with bone. Last night she had raw carrots with raw string beans and raw sweet potatoe. A couple of slices each. She had another chicken thigh this morning and will have turkey tonight with no bone. Last week she had a raw egg. I only like to give egg maybe once a week or once every 2 weeks. I've given her raw beef cubes also. She no longer has dry dog food at all. Some pork, not a lot. Mostly chicken, turkey and some beef. Vegetables and today I go to pick up chicken livers, hearts, yada yada. I do not cut up the chicken thigh. I give it to her whole and watch the natural instinct surface, meaning tearing apart the chicken, splitting the bone open, eating the marrow than chewing the bone till it's gone. Jemma was gulping too fast giving it to her cut up. Giving whole has given her much more satisfaction. I think if you put it down and let is stay there a little bit, she might go for it. But not long because you don't want the meat getting spoiled. Or put it in refrig and take it out later. She had a taste yesterday, maybe she'll go for it today. Good luck |
