Any photos of coat texture in puppies? Have done my 'research' but am still having a hard time visualizing the different Yorkie coat textures described in postings. Does anyone have photo's that would help? Especially interested in puppies! Thanks in advance...... |

2 Attachment(s) Mandie had really kinky looking hair as a baby. I never really noticed it before, until I started looking at her baby pictures. The first picture is what she looks like now, and the second one is when she was about 3 months old. |
I would be interested too see some puppy pics of the different coats also. i think coral has a silky coat, but i am not positive! |
1 Attachment(s) Couver had really messy puppy hair. It did not matter if you brushed him 30 seconds earlier, his hair always looked messy. I think he always looked wet. He now has more of a silky look to him. This picture shows his coat the best from puppy-hood: |
The first and second one is Bentley. He has a cottony coat. The third and fourth is Lexi, she should have a silky coat. |
1 Attachment(s) Shelby (on the left) is cottony and Maddy is silky coated. |
3 Attachment(s) I don't know what my lil guy is!! |

2 Attachment(s) Here's Rily as a puppy and again at 6 months. I think he might have a modified coat. BIG DIFFERENCE! :D |
1 Attachment(s) Bandit & Peanut at 4-5 months, not sure what type of coat they will have. When I pet them, Bandit's coat is thicker & coarse, while Peanut is thin and silky to the touch. Bandit's the bigger one on the left. Both are sweet as pie! |

I stated that though pics are nice, you can't really identify and familiarize coat textures until you feel them. |
