DAWG: What is October?
 
The ASPCA has officially proclaimed October as "Adopt-A-Shelter-

Dog" month! I know all of us YT'ers wear our hearts on our sleeves,

so whether through fostering, adoption, or donation, lets make a

difference! Find a rescue in your area and help save a life.:animal-pa


For those in the D.C.,Maryland,Virginia PA. area, there is a huge

fund-raiser going on in York PA, on October 24. The Link below gives

more info.

Thanks for posting this! I discovered a new rescue group this wknd here in AZ - they're called Reservation Rewards Rescue - and they are taking in the abandoned dogs from the Gila Indian Reservation here in Phoenix. I guess a LOT of dogs are being abandoned - some running down the streets w/ shock collars on :(!

So, in honor of this month, I'll donate to this rescue I found.

Ann, did you see the pictures of Sunny on the YorkieHaven.com/sonny Its also on the rescue forum under take a look for yourself post #61. Any idea about his skin condition. Everyone please take a look at this site. I called Linda while she was transporting him yesterday. He was a mess. The first thing she did was give him a nice warm bath. Linda said the stuff that came off of him was just gross. This whole rescue was amazing. I want you to also look at the timeline. Linda posted on 9-30 and by 10-3 he was in her arms...Linda/YorkieHaven, you are Amazing:good job::clapsmile:coolsmile

Just looked at his pics, what an adorable little guy!
How anyone could allow their pet to go through what he did is unbelievable! I am just so glad that Linda has him, and a Big Thank you to all the YT folks who helped to get him to her. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
