Still looking but afraid of scams
 

Hi,
I'm considering and just looking for right now, for another baby. I went on puppyfind.com and saw a pup that was listed in my area(NJ not Nigeria) I sent an e-mail to get more info and below was the response I got. what kind of resonse is this?:confused:

I quite appreciate your proposing in purchasing my puppy.The puppy is currently available forsale,though the puppy is now with me here in Nigeria, because i arrived yesterday to Nigeria, where my church is having a prayer crusade. The puppy will be arriving in a couple of hours, because i have already made an arrangement with the shipping company here. So it will be very easy to have the puppy ship once i found a buyer. My scam flag went up too! I didn't have any luck with Puppy Find! I found more information her than anywhere else! have you checked in your region? maybe someone could direct you from there. Good luck in your search!!

That's what I always wonder when people come on here looking for puppies when there are so many good breeders on here.;)

How far are you from Erie PA? I know a wonderful breeder there.

Yikes! :eek:My scam antennae went up too! There are great breeders on this site and the best resource is word of mouth. Good luck in your search.

There are several reputable breeders I have noticed on Puppyfind.com, but this one is a scam. I have yet to come across a $200 yorkie that is something you would truly desire. If you are looking for a lower range try an animal shelter. At least there they would have their shots and be spayed and neutered already.
