My choice would be the first one. I like them with the ears up early on and she has the face I like. |
Go with the one you first thought you'd like... then get rid of the picture of the other LOL Remember you will love the one you get! You are so sweet!!! |
Thanks everyone for your replies. I'm going to sleep on it and either decide tomorrow or she said I could come back one more time. (She's probably ready to shoot me). :) I was totally stressed the last time we went; my Dad had (age 88) gotten sick and I was so worried about him that I probably wasn't putting out very good vibes! This is my first Yorkie (we have a Westie now) and I am looking for the perfect fit. Ya'll shore do have cute yorkies yourselves! |
I would go with the first one, but both are very cute |
Darling Puppies I would pick the one that is most loving. The second one reminds me of my Zekie because he had one ear down for quite a long time. It is up now. They both are and I have never done a thing to them. They are very hairy and I like them that way. |
They are both cute, but I prefer the first one's face, has that babydoll look. I also love her ears. How exciting to have a new puppy!! Good luck and go with your gut. |
Decision Made! After talking it over with my son (age 14) - we are going with the dog in the first picture. Her name will be Lucy! She was our first pick - even when she was only days old. She was supposed to be a little bigger (which we wanted) and her Mom was the more laid back of the two Mom's. Now, I know that's no guarantee - but that's all we had to go on at the time. We have a hyper Westie - so more 'laid back' sounded real good at the time! My son has never waivered - ever. When we went to see them at 6 weeks; we found out she wasn't going to be as big as what we originally thought and the breeder showed me another one - (second pic); who will be about 1 lb bigger. Lucy seemed a little more timid - but the breeder advised she had never been out of her room with her Mom (only 2 pups in her litter) and suddenly she was in the room with the other Mom's pups and some strangers and a little scared and I was not getting to see her true personality. She did, however, climb right up in my son's lap and sleep for most of the visit. So, he fell in love all over again. Since Ringo (our male Westie who was supposed to be Matt's dog) seems to love my lap . . maybe Lucy will be the one to cuddle up with my son and be the perfect addition to our family. Thanks for all your advice! I'll be back at the end of the month with pictures! And I'll be reading and reading the old threads for info before that. |
they are both ADORABLE!! I would let one of them choose you! I was at the breeders house for over 2 hours with my Mom when I got Sadie...there were 2 females and It took me forever to choose...I was sitting on the floor playing with both of them. When I thought I had chosen the one I wanted, I stood up to leave and the other female had come over to me and sat on my foot...that is the one I took! And she is DEFINITELY my girl!! Lillie was easy...she was the only female that lived out of the litter. She is a daddy's girl but, loves me too! Maybe you should take both of them!! :p |
