Humping Brother! One of Peanut's 5 week old brothers was just humping him! Is this normal at so young an age?? |
Im guessing so being they are born with their natural instincts. Could be play, dominance issue, etc?? But, at 5 weeks old, this is kinda cute. LOL :D |
Remmy did this when he was a wee little pup. It was so embarassing...I would introduce him to people and he would try to hump thier foot. Now he is almost three and I had him fixed and he does not do that. I had to get rid of all the stuffed toys his size because even after he was fixed he would try to hump them too! :D Silk has been with us for 7months now and he has not tried to hump her at all. I don't think she would put up with that if he did  |
i think it very normal Chicle was humping since the day i got him . i was freaked out too that maybe the guy i got him from lied to me about Chicles age .. but turns out he was an EARLY BLOOMER lol just KNOWS WAHT TO DO AT AN EARLY AGE!! my lil man  |
my second male Denero was an early bloomer too...he was doing it at 10 weeks when I got him...he's getting "clipped" in a few weeks and I hope it takes care of it!! |
chachi was doing the humping at 8 weeks when I got him so I quess that is normal. |
Both of our boys did this early too. Milo, the younger of the two, would try and hump Max all day long. Max and Milo have since been neutered and that has put the cla-bash to that. Max would get so awful...he would take his stuffed critters and take them off to the corner and have his way. If you tried to take the poor thing away from him he would become quite furious and snip at you. Now that he has been neutered he hasn't even tried to hump anything and Milo hasn't even come close to trying it with his brother. |
Chewy started that last week at 10 weeks. Its so funny to see his lil face. |

my baby, to me, now seems to be more INTO IT ... its crazy ... |
rocky is humping his brother, spike Rocky is 2 y/o and spike is 3 y/o. Both have been fixed since pups. Rocky started humping his brother, spike yesterday. i yelled "no" at him, and he tried to do it again today. spike just stands there like, 'what's goin on'? I guess this is a dominance thing???? |
Dollar humps bad...but he is 3 months |
LOL - I remember the first time that Errol humped his brother. He was really little - like 3 months old or so. We were a bit concerned, so the next time we were at the vet we asked him why he did that. The vet just laughed and laughed and then he said it was perfectly normal. He said it was a way of them showing dominance over each other and that it wasn't sexual at all. They are over a year old now, and they're both neutered, and they both still hump each other on occasion. Neither one of them ever humped anything else, though - just each other. |
Bailey and Charlie do that way every once in a while but I think it's more of a dominance thing. THey are going on eight months old now and it's so infrequent I don't even think about it and they aren't fixed yet. Bentley is almost two and he isn't fixed but doesn't do it anymore either. Go figure :D |
Yes its normal. lol They dont know what their doing. |
