I'm so sorry to read that Mooney is missing! Have you called the vets in your area as well? I'm sure your DH feels horrible and accidents happen to all of us. I feel that you all need a big YT hug so: :ghug: & :hands: coming to you!!! |
I am so sorry that your Mooney is missing. I know that you are heartbroken. I will keep in in my thoughts and prayers. Donna |
I am so sorry to hear Mooney is missing. I hope Mooney finds her way home soon. PLEASE, everyone who is reading this post--make sure that your puppy, dog, ferret, is MICRO-CHIPPED. If your breeder doesnt do it before you get your baby, you do it on that first appointment. No excuses, it is important that you be able to prove your puppy/pet is yours if something like this ever happens to your animal. Don't take chances. |
Still praying for Moonies safe return home. |
Oh God I am praying for Mooney's safe return.... God please guide her back home to where she belongs.... |

Still missing Hi YorkieTalk members, It has now been an official week since Mooney went missing. I would agree w/ one of the other member abt makins sure your pet is chipped and not putting it off as i did. I still haven't given up hopeand am standing strong in my faith; thanks for your thoughts and prayers. Thanks for the advice on calling vets. Misty |
I'm so sorry to hear that Mooney is still missing. I know you're continuing to do everything possible to find her but I want to mention something anyway. Did you go to all the houses in your area and ring the bell? It may sound kind of weird but if someone found him and isn't telling it might work. Just my two cents... |
This has always been my greatest fear...I hope and pray for Mooney's safe return. Have you offered a reward, with no questions asked? Make sure your signs are brightly colored and posted all over your neighborhood, including schools, parks, shopping centers, libraries, restaurants, grocery stores, as well as the humane society, animal shelters, vets, groomers and pet stores. Also notify your local police station they are out patrolling the streets all the time. Have you posted a missing dog ad in your local paper? Oh, Mooney honey please stay safe until your family can find you...I will keep him in my prayers. |
Praying for Mooney's safe return. We are going to get the pups chipped when they get their teeth removed. |
Sending Prayer's for Mooney I'm so sorry about Mooney. I'll say some prayers for her safe return. It's probably best to have your pets micro-chipped in case they get out. Their is another problem that is happening in our area. People are stealing the small dogs, especially yorkies. They have tried to take mine three times since I've had them. The last being a couple of months ago and we live in a very nice area. Just goes to show, your not really safe anywhere now a days. The economy is in bad shape and anything of value... especially Yorkies are at risk. The second time this happened I was able to get their license number and found out where they were living. I turned this information over to the police and let them handle it. Didn't get much of a response so I went to the apartment manager and asked about these people. He told me it's best I don't press this issue because they were druggies. I did let it go.. I was afraid they would come back and harm my babies. The third time, I was at City of Hope and my neighbor was walking them and two guys tried to take them. This time they made the wrong decision. Larry is about 6'4" and weight is about 240. Big Mistake.. lol He was walking both of them one on each side and one of the guys tried to come up behind him and snatch Breese. He turned around and said, " You really want some of this", that guy ran so fast back to the car. Need I say, I was scared when Larry told me what had happened. After these two experiences I decided we needed a little help with this problem. We were having a City Counsel Meeting the next day and what better way to prove my point. I attended and had my say. ( Smile ) Our city meetings are on cable and everyone know's my babies. The mayor has even seen them at sunrise services.. She just happens to be a minister herself. Did I get a reaction... Yes, I did. As you get to know me better... I'm a real kick.. I have this saying, if you can't laugh at yourself.. you are lost... lol We have a senior citizen complex a block from my place and some of the tenants have small dogs. I made the point at the meeting that I would go down fighting for my little girls and they may just be picking me up off the street. My main concern were for the seniors' and they well being. Besides being hurt and devastated from the loss of their pet.. something needed to be done for safety reasons. After getting all this off my chest, I felt better. It only took about 10 minutes before I was tapped on the shoulder. Too my surprise, It was the Chief of Police asking me if he could talk to me. What a guy..lol He took care of business... smile.... I had a call from an officer wanting all information and when I walked my babies. I now have police protection and so do our senior citizens. Just goes to show you, that if you speak up, you can make a difference. I'm sorry about the long read but when it comes to my little girls, I'll go to the ends of the earth. My Tuffy did that for me when I needed her the most. She's waiting for me in heaven and someday, I'll be with her again. Kathleen Punken Pie :aimeeyork :littleang |
