Never thought to keep getting it checked when I take him in! Any more new news on Mooney? |
mooney update--appears bleak-- Hi all, I still haven't given up hope but it appears bleak. My seven year old even came to conclusion maybe someone took her b/c she is so cute and doesn't want to return her. I am sure this is the case, maybe. I was jst looking at the ads on craigslist from the lost/found and another lost yorkie jst broke my heart, the owners put a message out to those who stole their yorkie. It was quite heart wrenching. I have knocked on doors and put up more signs w/ a reward. I am still not giving up. Maybe someone will fess up and give her back. Thanks GBU Mistyrain11 |

I am so sorry, I hope if that is the case then at least she is safe and taken care of, thats the only thing you can hope for. I have seen this happen with my Gparents silky, they never got her back, and the sad thing was we found who had her, and she lied to us and said she gave her away...we tried and tried to get her back. But there was no way. My Gpa had a heart attack over it and passed away. It was very hard to deal with and I know what you are dealing with. Honestly if it was Peanut I would never give up, I would always be looking for him. I would do what I had to do, but then again there is only so much you can do. (That is my one fear with having a yorkie, if for some reason Peanut were to get out, I know I wouldnt get him back. He is a "yorkie" and he is very cute.) It gets to the point where you have done everything and you have to let God take it from there. I wish you the best of luck and I hope and pray that you get Mooney back. |
Ulgh people are horrid. I really really hope you get her back soon! I'm still praying for her to go home! Hopefully everything will be ok soon. |
Your hubby must feel AWFUL! |

You are near the town we live in and there has been 2 or 3 yorkies here that have gotten out and someone found them and either kept them for themselves but could not be proven(not microchipped but groomer/vet was pretty sure it was the same dog someone tried to pass off as there own)....or they tried to sell them on Craigslist after a few weeks went by, so keep checking and call on any Yorkies they post that could POSSIBLY be yours. I am still praying your baby is returned......prayer can change ANYTHING or anyones heart, so even if it is weeks down the road maybe someones conscience will convince them to do the right thing and bring her back home safely to you and your family. :hands::hands::hands::hands::hands: |
I'm so sorry you are going through this. I will continue to offer up prayers for the safe return of Mooney. |
I thought I would mention this.... Reliable Home & Pet Care (Look at the bottom of the page.) It is a story about a maltese that was lost...later it was found that someone found her and intended to keep her. This person put up a billboard with a reward and the pup was seen and returned. They put a really big reward up...but perhapes it would just spread the word. This pup was returned within two days of the board going up. Sometimes the advertisment people will give you a discount if you let them know why. Just a thought. I will countinue to keep Mooney in our prayers. |

I'm so sorry you haven't found her yet. In our city, we have a downtown area that everyone usually shops. They've been more then helpful in helping anyone who has lost a pet. If by chance you have such a gathering area in your town, contact the store owners and see if they will post her picture with her information on the front window.:angelyork:littleang I know of a case right now that some women found a Chihuahua in the downtown area and she kept him. I heard from a close friend of her she had posted found posters and contacted the police and gave them the information. I walk the downtown area every day and nothing was posted in any of the surrounding area and I'm sure the police department was never notified. Their are some selfish people in this world and only think of themselves. How sad ! By the way,the guy that does grooming at the pet store has pictures of missing pets posted on his wall in his grooming area. The pet store also posts in the front window of their shop. If it's possible make flyers and get them to all the groomer's in your area and all pet stores. The more the word gets out, everyone will be looking and the responsible person might be found. Wish I could do more but I'll keep her in my prayers for a safe return. Bye for now, Punken Pie :aimeeyork Breese BeBe :littleang |
Praying for Mooney's safe return. |
Will continue to pray for Moonie's safe return. I remember reading a while ago, someone suggested to add to the poster's of lost pups, Medication Needed. This way is someone did steal the dog they may think twice about the expense or the dog dying. You never know and anything at this point is worth a try. I feel so bad for you and your family. Miracles do happen everyday and I'm praying for one for you. |
Will continue to pray for Mooneys safe return. |
Praying for Mooey's return. Do NOT give up. While visiting my mom who lives in another state one of my babies got out through the garage and ran out. We were persistant with signs everywhere and knocking on doors. She was finally found safe 3 days later with a sweet lady who had picked her up in her car. So don't give up, keep looking everywhere! |
I'm so sorry to hear about you loosing your baby. I pray that you get her back. |

The best news!!! :)I would love to share with you all the great news that Mooney has returned! I can hardly believe it!!! Just abt 30 minutes ago my neighbor came over w/ her and said that he saw her in someones backyard down the street and he thought he remembered asking him abt whether he had seen her around when she initially went missing, plus he already knew her as my dog just from being my neighbor and seeing her--anyways, he said he always goes on walks and had never seen her in that yard but today he did and he wondered if the people who lived there had a new dog, but he thought it looked alot like my missing dog, so he just took her and brought her to me. She seems so happy to be home! i just gave her a much needed bath i don't know if someone had her or if she'd been roaming the streets but she has definetly been outside. I noticed one flea but i dipped her and plan to get a capstone. Put I am also alarmed, her nipples look swollen--I'm hoping she isn't pregnant, does anyone know how to tell pregnancy?! She is going on 10 months and i thnk they go into heat the first time around then right? Oh I'm so happy and concerned for her at the same time. Right now she wolfing down some food, she apears very hungry poor thing. I give all the glory to God and for the prayers here on Yorkietalk.com and Unleavenedbreadministries.org and from all my family and friends who helped me through this and helped me stray strong in prayer and faith and all your wonderful advice and well wishes! My daughter is going to be ecstatic when she get's home. |
I am so happy for you, Mooney, and your family! I hope Mooney is OK and recovers ASAP! Thanks so much for letting us all know how things turned out. Are you planning to talk to the residents of the house at all? I certainly would. You need to know what has been going on with Mooney. In any case, great news and the best of luck for you all. ~CD |
That's wonderful news! I hope she's not pregnant, for her sake, but a trip to the vet will maybe clear up that question. |
Miracles do happen everyday we just sometimes don't know about them...this is awesome I know you are exstatic. I am so happy for you. Mooney has had a guardian angel watching over her thats for sure.:) |
