Hello everyone, I just joined this site last evening and already have information I have been looking for.Thanks! I will be getting my baby boy Tues Oct 4th and am so ezcited it is hard to sleep.This from a 64 year young grandma,lol!!My puppys name is Satch,he will be 91/2 weeks old and of course he is beautiful.
I am going to be posting a lot as I know nothing of this breed other than I have wnated one for years.
I am looking forward to talking to you all and getting your advice.

Welcome!!!!!!! I am new to the site also and have learned so much in the three or four weeks I have been a member. All I knew before was that I had wanted a yorkie all my adult life and by some miracle, my hubby came in one day and out of the blue told me he would purchase me a baby. I searched everywhere and started to drive to Va. to buy one from a breeder on here. As luck would have it, I found one within twenty minutes of my home. The breeder has show dog quality pups. His name is Ceeby after my son's imaginary friend when he was three. He is eight weeks old and is a handful. It isn't easy. he ate well the first day or so. Now he is not eating well most days. I have had him for a week tomorrow. I have feed him everything you can think of to get him to eat and usually every meal I have to come up with something new to entice him. Plus I have been giving him Nutrical three times a day as suggested by my vet. Today, he has eaten well every four hours so he will only get the nutrical once more today intead of three times. Bedtime is not working the greatest. i couldn't stand his screaming the first night and took him to my bed at three a.m. I put him back in his playpen last night because I have to be gone overnight for three nights starting Saturday night and he is so attached to me, I don't know what he will do. he screamed all night and never let up. I think tonight I will put the baby gate up in the living room and leave him out of the playpen. I will put his blanket on the carpet and see if that works. It is just like a real newborn baby. I am at my wits end from lack of skill and sleep but enjoying every minute of it. be sure to post pictures of Satch. Great name!!!!!!
