cute little yorkie on a craigslist type add hi, i just wanted to post this on the forum in case anyone in the tn/al/ga area is looking for a yorkie... found this add on lsn.com... they said this cute baby was too small to breed so they are now trying to sell her. poor baby:( here is the person's actual website www.kinseyskitters.com please let me know if i'm doing wrong by doing this. i've seen where people are trying to rescue so thought i'd try to help this little baby! |
ok... actually there's several yorkies on that website for sale where people say they are moving and such... website is Local Sales Network - PETS & MORE - Go LSN! |
That shasta is cute, but kind of homely lookin' poor thing! Yes, our Derby is groomed the same, but poor Shasta looks ratty! And It has Dumbo ears like my Yorkie! aww! it gives me hope that mine Yorkie's ears will eventually perk up! God I sound mean... but didn't mean it at all! Man, our 3 month old is the same size as that 1 year old! bigggg puppy we have lol |
After doing extensive reading, and seeing pictures online~ I am now convinced that my pup and that pup! are not Yorkies, but in fact Silky's!!! am I right? Someone confirm here because this matches my pup to a T. The Silky has a longer muzzle than the Yorkie and the Silky's head is more wedge shaped than the Yorkie, which has a more "dome shaped" head. The Silky's body is longer than the Yorkie's body. The Yorkie's body shape is more "square", in that the Yorkie's body is no longer than it is tall at shoulder giving a square appearance. The Silky's body is somewhat longer than it is tall at the shoulder. A healthy silky is well muscled and very sturdy for a dog of this size. |
your derby Quote:
in that case hes going too be alot bigger then reg yokies and also they tend too have shorter coats and thinner bodys they tend to favor basic dog structure bodys while reg yokies have small compact even bodys |
I mean look at him sleeping. 3 months old! He's so long. He's going to big, that's for sure and he has those bigger ears too, but the length is what got me, and his head seems big for his body LOL I thought it was just the stupid haircut my husband gave him on his head to get "use to the trimmer" http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/pic...ictureid=69445 |

I really dont care what they look like because you can fix this with proper diet, vetting and grooming but this place is discusting. Looks like a puppy mill. Did you see her puppies standing on wire and underneath looks like poop, so you know they are living in that mess. Poor things... |
What a sin, That is such a terrible life for those poor babies, why would they have them walk on wire, that is upsetting:mad: |
I totally agree that she looks like a puppy miller. By the looks for these poor babies they must live outside too. It's so heartbreaking. I feel very bad for these poor little ones. I thought her prices were low and wondered what that was about, but maybe she knows they are sick or something. I hope they all find better, living homes. |
That is just awful! I hope they find new homes soon! |
agree its a dog mill for sure ,, |
yes, i thought they looked pitiful! there was also another yorkie i think that she had for sale bc she said she was moving & couldn't take it... also i think my ella maybe a silky also. when i called the breeder to ask she said no, but everyone that sees her always says she is a silky. her body is a long body, but she's very tiny! she will be a year old next month & is a whopping 3 1/2 pounds & the vet says she's as big as she's going to get? oh well whether she's 3 lbs or 15 lbs she's the apple of my eye! |
