You will see this age recommendation also on Yorkshire Terrier Club of America Yorkies need more socialization with their mother and siblings, as well has being a little bigger to handle the stress of going to a new home so they will not have a stress episode and get hypoglycemia. I would never get a pup that was younger than 12 weeks and tells me something about the breeder too. |
