And now we have 3!!!!!
 
We got a little girl and boy last night that are almost 2 yrs old. They have spent their entire lives in little kennels b/c the family that owned them were to busy with there lives to care about these babies. They were sold to a lady and her husband will not let her keep them. So my husband bought them! I think we have a long adjustment period ahead of us!!!
The little girl only wants ME to hold her and won't play with the others. And the little boy is mischieves and keeps trying to mark everything (including me!). Sadie is excited but confused and we all got little sleep last night so please say a prayer that this all works out!

It is going to take a little while and a GREAT deal of patience but these little ones will repay you with more joy and love than only have one could do.

Wow what a story. Those poor little babies. Just wanted to be loved that's all. I don't think that's too much to ask. Bless you for giving them the love they deserve. Good luck. post pictures when you can. those people who did this to them will rot in hell.:mad: Poor babies!!

Just wanted to recommend the Belly Band for your little guy. It sure is helping our household. Congrats on your new family members! :D

What an awesome thing you have done for these babies:thumbup: I'm sure they will adjust in no time:) I second the recommendation on the belly band, it will make life so much easier for you and the little guy. I can't wait to see pictures:)

Congratulations on your extended family! How wonderful that your family chose to take these 2 little ones and give them love and a better life. A belly band will help the male with his marking thing. I see BaxtersMommy has already recommended that. Thanks for what you have done. :animal-pa

Thank you guys so much! You all are so wonderful and supportive. We have groomer appts tomorrow morning and we will be getting new harnesses AND a belly band tonight! (they only had collars with leads attached) Thanks so much for the belly band recs. I have only had a little girl so i'm unfamiliar with boys :rolleyes: Things between Max and Sadie are going well but Stella is still very temid. But it hasn't even ben 24 hrs. We are going to have to rethink our gates. Sadie is 6.5 lbs and these babies or 3.5 - 4.5 lbs and can squeeze right through! We have some adjusting but the reward is going to be awesome :D

Sorry for the blurry cell phone picture. I promise to get pics tonight but with 3 I think its going to be a challenge :)

I can't imagine!:D We recently adopted ONE new baby and Whoa! Sounds like your original baby is adjusting better than ours did. :rolleyes: I wish you the best of luck and lots of prayers to you and your growing family.

God Bless you and your hubby for giving these babies a good home. You are exactly right though, the reward will be awesome!

Has the boy been neutered and the girl spayed. Most every time you have a male in the house with other dogs, especially female, he will mark. I've never known anyone who could break a male from doing this. I know you have a big heart and want to give those babies the best home ever, but a belly band is only like a band-aid. I'm going out on a limb here and hopefully don't get anyone offended, but before the boy got too comfortable in my home, I think I would try and find a person who doesn't have another dog, that would give him a great home. Try a senior citizen who is still energetic and would talk him for long walks a couple times a day and so on. In the event you try to keep him I wish you nothing but good luck.

They have not been fixed but we are planning on doing that as soon as possible. Will that stop him from marking?
