My friend's house was destroyed in the floods here in Atlanta. They are basically homeless bouncing around their family's houses with 3 kids and two dogs. Her dad took their boxer and I took their Chi! Her name is Piglet and she's a little doll! She and Tucker get along great!! Please keep my friend in your prayers. One of her basement walls collapsed during the floods, not only leaving a huge hole in the side of her house, but also shifting her house downward a few inches. Her children's toys were lost, it's an estimated 50,000 in damages and her insurance does not cover it.

I'm so sorry for your friend:unlove: It's awful that the insurance doesn't cover flood damage:( We're required to carry it by our mortgage company, so I guess that's a good thing.

There is so much destruction anymore from fire and floods, and those 6 poor souls including a little boy who lost their lives in that GA. flood. Makes me wonder how many other families and pets are bouncing around right now. I do hope there are more good people like yourself that can help them all out.

He's so cute and lucky to have someone like you to dogsit him while his parents try to get back on their feet. :(

We have been really lucky in my area - the worst I have heard of is flooding in basements.

Oh you are so lucky!! We had a chi puppy for a short time but my husbands allergies were worse than mine so we had to find her a home. I got her a beautifull home with fantastic people but I still miss her.

Your Piglet is adorable.:) My thoughts and prayer are with your friends.
