yorkie weight At what age does a yorkie reach its full weight and height? Zoe is 5 months and weighs right at 4lbs. but she has long deer-like legs and is like 71/2 inches tall and most of that is legs. |
It varies but most grow til at least a year and may put on more weight after that. You'll get many different answers depending who answers. |
Rarely are they done growing at 5 months. Then once they reach their full height and length, the will still have some filling out to do. |
I got my yorkie, Mooney at 5mo and she was arnd 4 lbs and very tall too, mostly legs. she is now six lbs at 9 mo and her breeder said she is done growing but then again she said she wouldnt get over 5lbs too. So i don't know if she is done growing or not; I would say yours isn't done growing, but ya never know some yorkies jst don't get much bigger after 5 to 6 mo. Is he a good eater and snacker. Mooney was like a vaccuum cleaner she would go aroiund the house looking for tidbits of food in the kitchen so knew she was gonna get big. |
