I would report that dog to the police! Do you have a leash law in your county? OMG, I hate to think about what could have happened. Another case about irresponsible owners of potentially dangerous dogs!!!!!!! | Unfortunately, where I live we don't have leash laws but the dog has to be "under your control". I have a friend who is a cop in our town & I asked him. Obviously dogs that would attack someone walking on a sidewalk would not fall into this category, and there's probably nothing I could do unless me or my dogs were attacked. I'm going avoid that road from now on. Yesterday we went a block down & saw the dog racing around its house looking like it was going to storm up to us, but it either knows it can't cross the street or there's an electric fence or something. Too bad, because I really liked that route (on the way to a park). I am now totally uncomfortable going down that road but I think I'll just leave it at that. From what I hear, unless they do something (like attack), it is pointless to report them, so I am going to avoid putting me and my pups in that type of danger. Thanks for the tip though! |
