Hello Again!
1 Attachment(s) I was on here a few years back as Tuck'sMom but when I got laid off from my job, I no longer had a computer. Well, now I have a computer and a new baby whose name is Sookie. For any fans of the HBO series True Blood, you'll know where I got the name - she is beautiful and quite the little bruiser - bigger at this age than most of my previous Yorkies were at four months! So now Tucker has a little sister and he isn't quite sure how he feels about her yet! My friend Donna left town on a family emergency, leaving the very pregnant Nikki with me, and of course, she delivered her beautiful pups here at my house. Can you believe it - five! All thriving and nursing before I even knew anything had happened! After three, I called Donna and told her she had her puppies, congrats, etc. and then I dozed off for a little while - only to wake to squeaking noises and discover she'd had two more! She handled everything on her own without even the slightest problem! These pups and their delivery and growth rate has defied everything I've ever known, seen and experienced about Yorkies. She had them all but completely weaned and eating her puppy chow by the end of five weeks - if I hadn't seen both parents and been around for this whole process, I would think these pups were about 12 weeks old or so... Sookie actually learned the doggy stairs after being shown only once! Super Sookie!!!!! Lots of pictures will be coming soon! It's great to be back amongst fellow Yorkie fanatics!
