where can coby go tomorrow on my bday? tomorrows my baday and i might wanna go too the movies i have no one too keep him i was just wondering if like petday care for a couple of hrs? would be ok because he's so young.. im not sure but i know im gonna want too do something' and you can t bring a dog out too eat or in the movie theater.. im really nervous about leaving him anywhere because he was just sick but i've also have been in the house for a couple of day... |
anyplace that serves food will be a no no unless you have a outside place to eat that allows dogs, if you could put him in a bag and keep him hidden maybe the movies, I would not try it, I would be afarid of getting caught, maybe having a get together at home. |
Dont take him out until he has had all his shots. Parvo can live anywhere for 6 months. Please be careful. Rent some movies with a nice bottle of wine and a nice dinner. HAPPY BIRTHDAY... |

HAPPY BIRTHDAY :bigbdaypa |
I dont even think doggie day care will be an option, our state requires all dogs to be fully immunized as well as kennel cough vaccine before they can attend doggie daycare.... !! I agree having a puppy is like a newborn baby... lots of sacrifice.... there are some great movies in the REDBOX... or maybe have your daughters babysit for a couple hours and go out with hubby and have a at home celebration with your children later in the evening with a cake and movies..;) |
Does somebody need to be there with him 24/7? I'm confused. You can leave a dog by itself.... lol. Go to the movies for a few hours, have fun, he will be fine :) Leave him crated or in an expen while you are gone. |

Well first of good for you for understanding his needs and making sure someone is with him all the time but I understand wanting to do somthing with everyone so why not pic up supper and head down to the park there are many things that you can all do togeather it won't be 5 star but you'll be togeather on your b-day |

I agree..Go get some dine out, and a movie, maybe some wine and go back home. Not worth the risk! You have your whole life to go do things, but right now your number one should be Coby!! Until he is ready to be left alone and go outside. I made tons of sacrifices when Peanut was a puppy!! A week after I got him I had the choice to go on a vaction with my grlfriends and leave Peanut with DH, and I didn't even want to do that, I said I got Peanut he is my resbonsiblity so I will do what I have to do!! It sucked, I wanted to go, but I loved Peanut way to much lol!! Plus a lot of boarding/ day care places, the dog has to be over 8 months and spayed/neutered and all shots. At least thats how peanuts daycare is |
I would definetly stay home. Your little one is too young to go out and about... Plus he has been through quite a lot recently. Our twins are 6 months old and are starting to go out and about more because we made sure they were fully vaccinated. They have all of their puppy series and just got their rabies shot last week. It is very tempting to take young pups out and about, but it only takes one time for your unvaccinated pup to catch something that can make him terribly sick or even kill him. Perhapes get an experianced puppy sitter to come to your house to watch him while you are away. |

Perfect idea!! |
When my Buffy was sick I was very lucky to be with her 24/7, this went on for about 8 months. When she went without a breathing attack for over 2 weeks I was so thrilled I wanted to go out to have dinner or go dancing and have some cocktails...lol But instead we all stayed home, BBQ some great food and rented some movies, that is a day I will never forget. Best Wishes on your Birthday! :D . |
Rent a movie and get some take out at drive thru, he can go for a car ride. Or go to a place that has outdoor seating and he can sit with you. Some place like Subway or a burger place, we see dogs with their owners sitting outside all the time. |
