I was just sitting here with Tyler on my lap sleeping and I'm starting to get nervous about his surgery in 3 weeks ): I've read the horror stories here so that doesn't help too much. I know he HAS to have it done especially since only one testicle dropped but it just doesn't make it any less scarier ): Just wanted to vent....

On another note... I'd like to share this picture with you guys and instead of making another post somewhere I just attatched it here. I had this ornament made in memory of my daddy... boy did I bawl when I opened it. It was more beautiful than I thought it would be. And of course seeing his picture still upsets me ): Thank you for letting me share! :)

Just remember for every horror story there is a non horror story. I know its easier said than done but try not worry as much. Your baby will pick up on it and make him worry. Hugs!

Just know you're doing the best for him.

When Jackson got neutered, I was a nervous WRECK! But... he was absolutely fine, did wonderful, and was back to himself by the 2nd day.

I just noticed my text STILL doesn't look like yours. LOL.... ah well

Don't worry.. Tyler will do great!! Its hard not to worry I know..All of us yt'ers have been there with the sx day!! But it will come and go..I think the hardest part is when they come home and you have to see them in such pain!! :( But then thats why god created us with the gift of love, so we can nurse our babies back!!

That is a really cool thing to have, its very pretty..I know how it is, I know what you are going to through and went through!! I to lost my father too. I decided to get a tattoo :D its a rosery on my foot, so I can always have him with me :D

here it is :D it says "dad" in the middle and on my ankle it says "always with me" :D


makes me kind of depressed... :(

No, it does! I think my text is just smaller. The font I used is called 04b_21 and I used it in size 6, I think that may be the only difference.

That is really pretty!!! I'm too chicken to get a tatoo! I know what you mean though... I was happy and sad at the same time when I got it in the mail yesterday... and I cried of course! But it's only been since Feb. although it never matters how long it's been!

Very pretty. I lost my little 6 year old brother in 2006 and want a tattoo for him, I was considering my foot but heard soooo many horror stories about it hurting like hell.
Oh, and Robyn, beautiful ornament. I'm sorry for your loss.

Duh me!! i thought it was silkscreen, LOL!! That explains it! :D

No way! I am horrible with pain.. I heard stories too, but I said I'm not going to let it stop me!! I sucked it up and did it and I am so glad!! The only time it hurt was when he first started ( it's my 1st tattoo) then it went numb...then the 2nd time it started to hurt was the writting on my ankle that almost killed me lol

It's very much worth the 6 hours of pain!!!
Esp if it's a "in memory tatt"

Thank you! Oh wow, I am going on 7 years. Gessh I should really stop talking about it..I get really depressed if I do. People say it gets easier, but I think it gets harder.

Anyway I am sorry for your loss!! I am hear if you need to talk about anything:D

I can relate to your concern about having him put under. I felt the exact same way recently when I had to have one of my dogs get a Dental to remove 2 teeth & cleaning. Everything went well which I'm sure it will for you & Tyler too. :):aimeeyork

I wanted to tell you, the ornament you had made in memory of your father is just beautiful. Thanks for sharing. :)

I was nervous when Hot Rod has his done. I made hubby take him in too! and I got to pick him up. lol. Hot Rod was just under 3 lbs when he went under and I was nervous but the vet was so reassuring that it helped to calm me down. good luck with your baby, it is never easy. :)

Any kind of surgery on these little guys is always scary. Just be sure you take all the necessary precautions - pre-op bloodwork and testing, iv catheter, and he will do fine. Probably better than you. ;)

I am so scared too and I haven't even made the appointment yet. Like yours my Ozzie's one testicle hasn't dropped either and that's what really scares me the most. He is 8 months now so it seems like it isn't going to drop. I'm so sorry about your dad. Your ornament is beautiful. I just lost my dad in May. It's so hard.
