How does your yorkie show their love for you other than KISSES My Travis is a big boy but he's so affectionate he will jump onto my lap and just gaze at you for the longest like he's trying to tell you he loves you:heart toAnd Mz. Lexi, OMG I swear she's been on earth before as a human because she uses her front legs like she's trying to hug you:love-hug1 and she will lay her head on our shoulder like she's a baby that needs to burped! This little one is so human it's crazy, when I'm in the bathroom doing my hair she sit in the door an watch every move I make, like she's taking notes. (lol) Oh and since I'm bragging :rolleyes: let me tell you guys about this, at night I put a peepee pad down for her and when she use it Mz. Little Lexi will move the pad to cover the wet spot up!(Like she folds over a part to cover the wet part up!) The lady who I got her from that mistreated her!! Bless her heart !!! My wants to b carry , yes just like a baby and I also dance with her. and she sleep on my chest , but I moved her every night to my side. And I try to go to the bath room she will cry until I open the door and sit on my lap until I'm finish. Lol !!!! Fiona is not a big licker, which i love, since my boyfriends dog licks and licks and licks! but fiona does this new thing where she will just lay across your whole chest and rest her head on my shoulder, its the cutest thing ever, she will also lay right on top of my legs or in the curves of my torso...fiona really has started to be a more lovable doggie since she is getting older! :) |
he follows me everywhere, lays by me when Im sitting, nibbles on me when I pet him, has to be near me at all times. He is truly a momma's boy.. :) |
they follow me everywhere! If I even remotely head towards my home office,they go tearing in there as they have pillows on my desk (so I only have the computer keyboard area basically, lol) then they just want to be picked up and held or jump on my lap as soon as I sit on the couch. maggie uses her paws too. While I'm typing, if I don't pay attention to her, she takes her paw and paws at my hands on the keyboard. She also wants to scratch her ears...she puts her head on your chin and will stand there while you massage her ears until she is done. If you stop, she will paw at you until you start. It's cute but annoying sometimes when you want to do something else like read! :) |
Bella Mia climbs up on my lap and snuggles right underneath my chin. She stays there until she has been properly snuggled then I get a moochie and off she goes to play some more. |
My momma's boy will stand on my chest when I'm sitting or lying down and rub his head under my chin. He too follows me everywhere I go. If I go out in the back yard he goes too but if I come into the house he also comes in. I adore him. Like Travis, my Scooter came from a home where the people didn't like him and treated him very badly. Stupid people, he's the sweetest dog in the universe. :2hearts2: |
Fancy will get in my lap and put her front paws on my shoulders and give me a little growl bark. It makes me feel like she is giving me a hug and saying I love you momma! She does the same thing to my leg if I'm standing and she is trying to get my attention. She stretches her paws up as far as she can (which is not very far) and while looking up at me does the same growl/bark. Very cute |

Daisy likes to take a nap at my feet while I am watching TV. She puts her little head on my foot so she can get into a good sleep and will know if I get up. |
Rockie loves to put hin chin on my leg and and l rub his chin. He likes being in bed just cuddled up next me. He's very loving when he wants to be.:p |
Bailey puts her chin on me every chance she gets and looks up at me - constantly - love it. And the biggest reason I know that she loves me is that she sleeps in my chair when I'm gone. |
Okay, Winston's way of saying I love you is by laying down and rolling over, belly up and curls his little head around and looks up at me with adoring eyes, I give him a belly rub and tell him I love you too! Also, if I'm holding him he takes my face in his paws, tilts his head and stares deep into my eyes...It's true love!!! |
Rosie stands on my lap, front paws on my chest and just stares at me also. Alfie is just a clown. My Chloe used to not give kisses very often but to show she loved me she'd stand on my lap, tail going crazy and put the side of her head against my mouth so I could give her a kiss. |
Isla isn't a big licker either but she has started to a bit more as she's gotten older. She will follow me around the house and if I sit down, she's right in my lap. Just the fact that she's always near tells me she loves me! |
Reading how capable of love is each Yorkie, I have to say that they are truly a magical breed. I don't know of another breed that can elicit such devotion from their humans. They are so wonderful. :tinyheart |
Sophie is a definite licker!! I'll never forget when I picked her up from Betty (aka tortoisekeeper) that's the first thing she did!:D She still does it, too! But she is a jumper and "pawer". She will stand on her two back legs until we pick her up and hold her. And if I've just come in the room, she'll fight anyone who's holding her to get to me. She also can't stand it if I go in another room where she can't get to me. we gate the bedroom off and if I go in there for something she'll wait at the gate until I come back. Today when I came home from church she started barking and Chip woke up and got her so they could wait for me to come in the door. She went CRAZY trying to get to me when I walked in. Right now she's in my lap sleeping. :) She's definitely a mommy's girl!:D |
lovins kayden wakes me up every morning by laying across my neck. she lays her neck right on top of mine for at least 5 minutes. :) no more waking up in a bad mood...even at 6am on saturdays :) if i'm sitting up, she will put both arms around my neck and give me a real hug. she also follows me from room to room. everywhere i go. i think she thinks she has to watch over me and protect me. when i'm cooking or doing dishes, she lays across my feet. |
Oliver is a licker for sure... he gives lots of kisses! He always has to be near me, I can't even shower without him in the room. He is learning how to give me a bit of space, he has found that he likes to lay on the rug upstairs - but if he hears me moving around he's down here in a flash to make sure I don't go far! When we sleep, he always has to have something touching me - usually he's right up against me, but if its too hot he'll just keep a paw on me. His attachment gets stronger every day. He has my :love: |
I love you mum When we are next to falling asleep, Mr. Darcy will rub his cheek across mine before setling beside me. He also does this when I'm waking up in the morning, pressing his little face across mine as if to say.......lets get a move on mommy! He's done this since he was a tiny boy and it melts my heart......:love: |

Show Me Love...... Mr. Darcy and Fletcher must be related.....Same brothers, different mothers. When Mr. Darcy is stressed or wanting serious cuddles, he will climb up on my shoulder, lay his head down and make little noises. Just melts me every time. I cannot possibly imagine how anyone could mistreat these loving creatures........My little fellow oozes love and kindness! :love: |
Oh wow! Raindrop will follow me everywhere. The kitchen, the bathroom, living room, you get the picture. She sleeps right next to me by my chest, so she can hear my heart-beat. She will curl up on my lap while on the computer and snuggle. I have no doubt my babies love me. LOL! |

I thought my Ben was an affectionate dog, but Rocky has him beat. I handfed Rocky and his siblings as we lost his momma the 3rd day after they were born. So, I think he believes I am momma. He does human like things like pulling my hand to him for more petting or more often, belly-scratching. He loves to get up on my chest and then just snuggle his head in my neck. So Sweet. Every single Yorkie has their own personality just like us. Let me tell you, Venus is my shadow. she follows me everywhere.. i go. when i am washing the dishes she will wait for me in to i finish no matter how long i take. She is alway there for me, some times i need someone to talk and she is there listening to me and giving me all her attention. every morning i know i am bless for God because Venus wake my up with kiss and her very unique jump movements.
