Are mine the only ones? Last week they brought me a dead bird, today they brought me a live squirrel! Little Lana just ran in and dropped it at my feet. Unfortunately they broke the squirrels back so it died an hour later, there was nothing I could do for it. |
My Misty is too small to grab a squirrel, she's just 5 lbs. Now Maizie, Cocker Spaniel, will bring me 'live bugs'. I learnt to check her mouth before letting her in. |
Mine have tried and tried to catch something for me but so far have not managed to get anything. They would LOVE to bring me a 'present' fresh-caught from the yard though. Good work kids. |
They are bringing you gifts! |
Winston brings me bugs all the time! If there is a stink bug in the house, he either comes to me chewing on it (live!) or drops it near my feet. The chewing thing I don't get, I cannot imagine they taste good! |
AWWW They are bringing you gifts because they love you :D My golden mix used to do this all the time usually dead rats and squirrels. I used to get upset until someone told me that they were gifts :D |
I got a dead mouse the other day, I was unpleasantly surprised:rolleyes:. Maddie couldn't figure out why mommy didn't want kisses afterwards:D No squirels, yet, you are oh so lucky:p |
wow! I have never had Fiona bring me anything alive or dead...however, the other night she had her first encounter with a toad, it was the funniest thing ever! she was stalking the poor thing to no end! I put him back in the grass though! |
Jackson brought me a dead mouse once; GROSS! He has tried to chase many bunny rabbits, squirrels, etc but never actually caught one. |
I was given a dead baby mouse once. Needless to say, I had my husband call the exterminator. |
